Originally located on Jackson Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Jackson Lumber & Millwork was founded by the Torrisi family in 1946.
Joe’s son, Al Torrisi, took over as president of the company in 1982.
Situated on 22 acres of land, our state-of-the-art millwork manufacturing/assembly plant, lumberyard, and store opened in Raymond, NH, in 2003.
In order to showcase their extensive kitchen design experience, the company established the beautiful Jackson Kitchen Designs showroom in 2008.
May of 2012 saw the opening of the Jackson Lumber & Millwork location in Amesbury, Massachusetts.
In early 2012, Al passed the leadership of the company to the next generation of the Torrisi family.
In January 2014, Jackson Lumber & Millwork was selected from 7,500 building supply dealers nationwide as the National Dealer of the Year by ProSales Magazine, becoming the first dealer in New England to receive this prestigious award.
In October of 2017, Jackson Lumber & Millwork opened in Woburn, Massachusetts after acquiring E.G. Barker Lumber.
In 2021 Jackson Lumber & Millwork celebrates 75 years as a family owned and operated company.
