The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role involves operating Siemens CT scanners, following established protocols, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic information. The technologist works across multiple hospital departments including Inpatient, ED, Outpatient, Pediatric, ICU, and Oncology Outpatient.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
Ensure patient safety and proper positioning during scans.
Operate Siemens CT scanners, including Alpha, Force, Drive, Flash, and Definition 64 models.
Follow established scan protocols for a variety of procedures, including cardiac imaging, neuro perfusion imaging, CTA imaging, and pediatric imaging.
Work across multiple hospital areas: Inpatient, ED, Outpatient, Pediatric, ICU, and Oncology Outpatient.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all imaging procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
Troubleshoot and report any technical or equipment issues.
Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Assist in educating patients about procedures and safety precautions.
Education:
Completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience operating CT scanners, preferably Siemens models.
Licenses/Certifications:
ARRT (Radiography) certification required.
State CT license (if applicable).
BLS/CPR certification required.

Job Description:
We're seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join a leading hospital in Massachusetts for a night shift travel contract. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in CT procedures and thrives in high-acuity/trauma environments.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex CT procedures, including angiograms, cat scans, and CT-guided biopsies
Operate and maintain 64-slice GE CT scanners
Work closely with trauma and emergency care teams
Ensure quality imaging and patient safety
Accurately document procedures using EPIC EMR
Required Experience & Skills:
✔️ 5+ years in a hospital setting performing CT imaging
✔️ Expertise in trauma protocols and interventional CT procedures
✔️ Knowledge of 64-slice GE scanner technology
✔️ Proficiency in EPIC
✔️ Ability to work independently on nights/weekends

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable X-Ray Technician to support busy orthopedic clinic locations in Mesa and Scottsdale, Arizona. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in producing high-quality radiographs, and is committed to patient safety and care.
You'll primarily perform X-rays for hips, knees, shoulders, and feet, with minimal spine imaging.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiological procedures and obtain high-quality diagnostic X-rays.
Follow strict safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
Develop and process radiological films.
Maintain a repeat rate of 2% or less.
Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions immediately.
Log all completed radiological procedures accurately and on time.
Maintain X-ray rooms and keep supplies stocked.
Collaborate with Physicians, PAs, and NPs to meet imaging needs.
Must-Have Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
ARRT Certification
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
2+ years of radiologic imaging experience preferred
Nice-to-Have Skills
Ortho imaging experience
Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes

What you'll do:
Responsibilities/Duties:
Acquires digital radiographic images as ordered by clinicians with x-ray machines.
Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Minimizes radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
Reviews for proper identification and quality check.
Prepares digital imaging for reading by physicians.
Transports patients from radiologic diagnostic procedures to exam room.
Uploads images to patient chart if necessary.
Burns CDs requested by patient after release is obtained.
Files films, discs and records if necessary.
Maintains a clean workstation by sanitizing in between each patient and at the end of every shift.
Who you are:
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved school of radiology required.
Licensed X-Ray Technologist in Massachusetts.
ARRT Certified.
Familiarity with HIPAA, insurance regulations, policies, procedures, and other regulatory policies.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe working environment.
Medical office procedures, policies, practices and medical terminology, telephone protocol and professional etiquette.
Electronic medical systems is a plus, including Athena/Centricity, Medi-Tech and the like.
Develops and maintains effective and professional working relationships with patients, medical staff, coworkers, and the public by displaying sympathy, tact and understanding.
