These services are provided through work order assignments, special project assignments and client requirements consistent with NFPA, OSHA, state of Georgia, and city of Atlanta Fire Marshal requirements. This position recruitment is for a lead fire suppression technician, who will report to the AAT Project fire suppression superintendent. The AAT Project operates 3 shifts daily on a 24/7/365 schedule. Other work scheduling requirements may also apply to meet client or project requests, seasonal weather events, or other special conditions. Special Considerations for Advancement to Fire Suppression Technician Level III The fire suppression lead must meet the requirements of a fire suppression technician level II. However, it is project leadership's desire to see the fire suppression lead achieve the NICET Level I certification within 12 months of accepting the fire suppression lead responsibilities. In addition, if the fire suppression lead, at the time NICET Level I training is completed and the certification awarded, meets the requirements of the fire suppression technician level III, the fire suppression lead will be promoted to the level III position.
