Routine responsibilities:
* Hosts weekly meetings with the Subcontractor and takes suitable notes. Aligns with Subcontract Administrator to ensure all items captured accurately. Distributes MM after each meeting to attendees
* Ensures that Subcontractor has latest version of all technical documents, including Drawings and specifications.
* Reviews all RFI's & submittals assuring completeness prior to Subcontractor submission.
* Monitors return of RFIs and Submittals from the Subcontractor, and expedites assistance from engineering disciplines as required
* Visits Subcontractor fabrication shops as required to expedite material deliveries and verify work in progress
* Works with Construction Management and field superintendent to ensure material deliveries are sequenced and coordinated
* Monitors Subcontractor's schedule on a weekly basis and escalates any issues to the ACM and Subcontracts Administrator, Works closely with the field superintendents, and project controls to track progress measurements
* In conjunction with the Subcontracts Administrator, evaluates potential changes, including identified but not yet priced and unit rate to IFC pricing. Coordinates with the Subcontractor, Subcontracts Administrator, and project cost control to ensure changes get processed promptly into Unifier.
* Reviews, coordinates any changes required, and approves pay applications before they get presented to the ACM for final approval.
* 10+ years of experience in managing construction projects related to Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facility Construction
* Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required.
* Demonstrated expert knowledge of Construction Management in Civil, Structural and Architectural
* Experience leading contractors and Superintendents for current scope, engineering information, and document drawings/specifications for construction execution.
* Ability to manage CSA scopes of work from the initial Bid Phase, through Execution, turnover, and close out of the Subcontract
* Experience in monitoring project budgets to ensure project requirements are met.
Ideally, you'll have the following experience:
* Ability to work with Engineering and Subcontracting to develop scopes of work for CSA related bid packages
* Liaise between Subcontracts Department and Engineering assuring that all Engineering requirements are met as they relate to the Bid Phase process along with any changes / additions to the Bid Phase documents.

* Act as technically competent lead in response to contractor or other party request for specification deviation in work or work product, working within the project approved spec deviation process.
* Work with Field Quality, contractor, and Home Office Engineering to resolve Nonconformities (NCRs)

* Define and document standard measures, naming conventions, and visual patterns to ensure consistent reporting across programs and clients.

Collaboration with BIM, Construction, Automation & AI
* Partner with:
* BIM managers to consume model and coordination data into dashboards.

* Proven experience building Power BI dashboards, including:

You'll be charged to lead/support incident notification, investigation and reporting process, as well as facilitating injury management and return to work process. You'll develop review subcontractor hazard assessments and deliverables and participate as required in operational readiness reviews or other forums relevant to project success.
The only travel anticipated with this role is to and from the project site. Future project assignments may require additional travel within the US, and potentially North America.

As our Missouri Process Mechanical Lead Engineer, you'll be charged with planning, preliminary, and detailed design of water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants across Missouri and the region. This will include specifications and plan development associated with pumping stations and treatment plant upgrades and expansions. You will be preparing general arrangement drawing for treatment equipment and tanks, designing piping and pumping systems as well as provide oversight of construction. You'll also evaluate and select equipment, piping materials and valves, assist with facility layouts, develop calculations, process flow diagrams, P&IDs and construction documents. In addition, you'll coordinate with other project disciplines, direct the work of CAD designers, and produce construction documents.
Using your leadership skills, you'll be part of a team engaged in delivering some of the most exciting projects in the region and beyond. You'll serve on projects as the Process Mechanical Discipline Lead which is one of the most important roles on a design project. You'll oversee process mechanical teams and provide overall leadership to projects. This role will also serve as the point of contact for our process mechanical practice which will include collaborating within the community of practice, setting standards and best practices within our region, most importantly, mentoring and growing our team.
At Jacobs, you'll also have the chance to work across all of our core water technical areas which are Drinking Water & Reuse, Municipal Wastewater, Distribution and Conveyance, Water Resources, and Industrial Water.
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree from an accredited university or college
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in various aspects of process mechanical design of water and wastewater systems
* Holds an active professional engineering (PE) license with ability to obtain Missouri license within 6 months
* Experience and familiarity with National Building Codes, EPA regulations, and 10 States Standards.
* Capable of working in a team environment, including giving and receiving critical feedback
* Strong and effective verbal and written communications skills
* Successful experience with working and managing remote domestic and international staff

* Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as Pipe-Flo

* Working with construction management staff to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to specifications, codes and standards, and client requirements
* Experience during construction including installation, startup, and/or troubleshooting is a plus
* Proficiency in Autodesk design suite is a plus.
