o This includes, but is not limited to, initial evaluation, daily notes, reassessments/progress reports, discharge plans and communication with members of the team.
• Additionally records daily billing and follows department guidelines for productivity.
• Prepares for the evaluation in accordance with department policies/procedures and standards of practice including obtaining patient history, exhibiting knowledge of patient diagnoses and researching unfamiliar diagnoses.
• Selects and administers tests and measures.
• Additionally, synthesizes evaluation results to formulate the diagnosis, goals, prognosis and plan of care.
• Establishes treatment plan based on evaluation results, goals and best practice. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team, patients and patient's support system. Assesses and re-assesses need for modifications to plan of care and goals.
• Identifies need for consultations and/or refers the patient to another health care professional or health care services. Initiates and completes discharge plan.
• Provides education/training to patient and/or patient support system
• Training-This includes but is not limited to ADLs/IADLs, therapeutic activities (e.g. transfers, bed mobility), rehabilitation equipment prescription and training and community reintegration

What You'll Do:

Considers a variety of validated treatment approaches and rationales for achievement of patient goals. Selects appropriate technical aids/assistive devices and correctly refers patients to other clinical services to achieve stated program/team treatment goals. Assesses educational needs of patient, families, and implements a variety of methods for patient/family education and training during rehabilitation process.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Center Manager oversees all operations, management, and accountability for the facility daily. Influence and manage front desks key performance indicators such as arrival, cancellation, no-show rates, copay collections, and scheduling rates.
Oversee in-service programs and new program development and maintain up-to-date treatment protocols and programs.
Maintain company policies related to staffing, scheduling, attendance and punctuality, timesheets, dress codes, safety and emergency procedures, and professional licensure in conjunction with our QA programs.
Provide necessary staffing for patient care during time off, vacations, and holidays as necessary.
Monitor labor expenses, paid time off, overtime, and holiday pay as necessary.
Manage and perform incident reports as they occur and communicate with our risk managers.
Always be a resource, mentor, and leader to the staff in the facility.
Provide patient care and a caseload as applicable.
Conduct patient care according to our care model, providing therapy diagnosis and setting goals for each patient.
Comply with all HIPAA and Code of Conduct policies for the practice.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy, physical therapy assistant, occupational therapy, or occupational therapy assistant program.
Current Pennsylvania physical therapy, physical therapy assistant, occupational therapy, or occupational therapy assistant 3 + years of experience managing an outpatient therapy facility's billing and clinical operations and equivalent experience is desired.
CPR certification is required.
