Responsibilities include:
Direct international sales and marketing efforts with other senior managers of JAKKS Pacific in the United States.
Responsible for the management of international based staff, strategic market planning, sales strategies, and securing and furthering JAKKS Pacific's Latin American consumer market, international sales, and marketing operations.
Collaborate with the leadership of the marketing department in the development of creative brand marketing plans including positioning, strategy, pricing strategies, advertising programs, and overall product marketing scheme.
Manage and direct all aspects of the sales team's plans and operations in Latin America.
Develop strategies with the sales team for each class of trade/customer.
Manage the determination of yearly/quarterly forecasts by product line, and track numbers throughout the year.
Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume for the division and establish short and long-term sales strategies.
Review and approve presentation of sales opportunities to upper management for approval and recommend product enhancements to improve sales potential.
Develop sales plans and consumer products programs with the sales team to fulfill the growth and revenue goals for the division.
Serve as management liaison representing JAKKS Pacific with key customers to establish global partnerships.
Maintain productive relationships with customers and licensors at a management level.
Design and develop account specific marketing/product programs and establish sales territories and quotas.
Coordinate product/pricing/marketing communication with representatives in the field.
Manage budgets for areas of responsibility and evaluate sales performance.
Analyze in-house and competitive brands and product categories, utilizing industry databases such as new product development (NPD) and toy retail sales tracking (TRST).
Provide dynamic leadership to product development team to enhance current product portfolio.
Develop business forecasts by markets/divisions/brands, and work with trade publications to promote product lines.
Responsible for the creation of accurate sales forecasting and financial reporting. Use good oral communication skills to lead new product roll-out efforts, market tests, and training of company and distribution channel personnel.
Manage licensing deals for Latin America, maintain relationships with licensors, present quarterly business plans, review forecasts, and negotiate new products/categories for Latin American territories.
Supervises 11 employees in the JAKKS Pacific's international department in Latin America, including Vice President of Sales, sales/marketing directors, and other sales managers and specialists.

Skills & Experience required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing and 3 years of International Sales Managerial Experience or No Degree but 5 years of International Sales Managerial experience.

Main challenges which position faces
Maintaining all pertinent development history on product management system for all styles included on the assigned projects.
Work with other departments to coordinate all necessary steps in order to achieve and complete the development process in a timely manner.
Position Duties
Dispatch Technical packages to China factories and Hong Kong office.
Procure factory prototypes for new product as well as revised samples of the Product Changes on existing production requested.
Organize goods upon receipt and prepare them for evaluation.

Daily data input in product management system.
Daily coordination with Samples department on status for factory samples needed for retailer or sales events.
Daily coordination with Design department on factory prototypes availability for Licensor submissions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sourcing and Product Compliance
* Assist/Manage the merchandise sourcing & production of select product categories (Softlines) for Funko/Loungefly in partnership with the Sourcing Manager
* Partner on vendor strategy, product costing/placement, manage vendor communication and production management related to designated product categories
* Responsible for ensuring products meet established standards for safety and quality including monitoring quarterly Product Review Requests with product integrity partners
Productivity and Process
* Track progress of production cycle against key milestone dates through daily maintenance of the Development Tracking Report (DTR)
* Contact vendors to follow-up and verify the accuracy of provided data, resolve routine issues and ensure vendor alignment with Funko processes and procedures
* Follow up with vendor communication regarding any outstanding deadlines
* Liaise with vendors and all 3rd party suppliers to ensure guidelines are followed to avoid late deliveries and charge backs due to non-compliance
* Ensure all products are shipped on time to support established launch dates
* Provide accurate shipment status information from factory to DC
* Maintain overall vendor capacity status reports with relation to forecasted demand and actual PO's on hand
Collaboration and Communication
* Prepare standard any ad-hoc reports as requested (Time and Action Calendars, production timelines, status updates, etc.)
* Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
* Attend weekly cross-functional meetings and quarterly product line review meetings to understand key sourcing issues and action items
* Communicate production status to global and regional partners during weekly cross-functional meetings as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* 3-5+ years related experience preferably in specialty retail or consumer products
* Exposure to Sourcing & Production of multiple product categories
* Proven track record of effectively communicating with manufacturers
* Ability to manage multiple SKU's and timelines in a fast-paced environment

The Senior Product Developer (Softlines) is responsible for making sure that concepts turn into cool Loungefly backpacks, bags, and wallets on retail shelves. The Opportunity: The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed our customers' high levels of expectations.
