JCC anticipates potential part-time openings for Adjuncts in the Teacher Education Department for upcoming semesters (fall, spring, summer) on the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County Campus(es). Position Description:
Full-time.12 month. Coordinate and provide college-wide training in the use of technology and pedagogical best practices to enhance instruction and course design. Work with faculty, programs, and other areas of the college in the design of high-quality course content for all course modalities, with an emphasis on student engagement and instructor-student, student-student, and student-content interactions. Provide support for students in the use of academic technologies. Manage appropriate administrative and other systems associated with academic technology platforms.
Essential Functions:
* Work closely with faculty and programs in the design of high-quality and accessible course content in alignment with instructional design and pedagogical best practices, including Universal Design for Learning, Community of Inquiry, and other frameworks and standards.
* Provide training and faculty support on pedagogy, course design principles, and accessibility standards.
* Collaborate with faculty, programs, and career services to integrate soft-skill and employability skill development into course and program curriculum.
* Support the director in completion tracking and documentation of course design projects.
* Assist the director in conducting quality reviews of distance education courses using the quality review rubric and collaborative review process adopted by the college.
* Consult with faculty and other stakeholders (e.g., direct supervisor, technology team) to determine appropriate and effective solutions using academic technologies.
* Provide training and support for faculty on the use of current and new academic technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, individual faculty consultation, training workshops, and training guides and videos.
* Provide training and support for students on the use of academic technologies. This includes, but is not limited to, the design of training documents and videos and collaboration with other college areas on the integration of support documentation into new and established student orientations and support courses.
* Assist and train students, employees, and community members with utilizing technology within the learning commons.
* Serve as the primary link between academic areas, the technology team, and vendors in problem-solving and troubleshooting academic technology issues.
* Analyze and interpret data to improve the use, management or delivery of technical solutions.
* Integrate third-party tools with the learning management system as may be required by faculty and overall instructional initiatives.
* Work with the technology team and vendors to evaluate and test academic technology settings, new features, upgrades, etc.., and effectively communicate changes to stakeholders.
* Investigate relevant new and emerging academic technologies and provide updates and guidance to academic affairs on the overall impact to teaching and learning and implementation considerations, including accessibility, privacy and security.
* Serve as the co-administrator of the digital learning environment and other academic platforms.
* Participate in job appropriate SUNY-wide meetings and groups (e.g., DLE, SUNY Online).
* Assist with accessibility and security reviews of academic technologies.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelors degree in educational technology, instructional design, education, or a related field plus a minimum of three (3) years of higher education experience providing technology and/or instructional design support for faculty and students or related experience. Familiarity with various methods of teaching. Knowledge of instructional delivery platforms/programs, applications, and authoring tools. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows. Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated organizational and managerial skills, and attention to detail and accuracy. Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Preferred: Masters degree in relevant area. Experience in two or more: development and delivery of instruction for in-person and distance modalities, administration of a learning management system, administration of academic technology platforms, online course quality reviews, and instructional design support for faculty.

Typical Work Activities
1. Operates heating boilers, process piping, pumps, related equipment, and performs preventive maintenance tasks to promote efficiency and longevity of the equipment;
2. Operates air conditioning equipment from small package units to large centrifugal compressors, process piping, pumps, condensers or water-cooling towers, and related equipment such as heat exchangers, domestic water heaters, piping valves and return condensate pumping systems and performs preventive maintenance tasks to promote efficiency and longevity of the equipment;
3. Operates and maintains emergency generator for emergency electric power supply to one or more buildings;
4. Performs all preventive maintenance on pneumatic temperature control systems and component parts not covered by contractual obligations of calibrations, repairs and checks operation of dampers, unit valves, and controllers for room controls, and fan systems which may have both heating and cooling functions;
5. Performs maintenance work on electro-mechanical parts of fan systems such as motors, belts, fan freeze stats, fire stats, filters and campers (exclude working on high voltage equipment which should be performed by qualified electrical personnel);
6. Collaborates with outside contractors utilizing the County bidding and purchasing processes;
7. Maintains records for New York State Department of Health;

SUNY Niagara's Division of Workforce Development is seeking a part time instructor to teach a Sterile Processing Technician course. The course will run with 88 hours of instruction for participants. It includes both a classroom session (64 hours) and a small group clinical portion (24 hours) running multiple times. This session generally runs weekends and/or evenings (after 5 p.m.) to accommodate working participants. The exact course days and times will be negotiated upon hire.
This position is responsible for cultivating the department's mission and objectives through student instruction, curricular design, and practical knowledge in order to ensure the successful program and personal development of each student. The instructor will utilize their educational and professional experience to foster a student-centered classroom environment that cultivates student engagement growth, and career readiness after the completion of the program.

Position Description:
JCC anticipates potential part-time openings for Psychology instructors for upcoming semesters (spring, summer, fall) on the Jamestown campus.. Class times and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester.

Qualifications:
