    Assistant Branch Experience Manager - Dothan We are looking for service oriented, energetic and driven leader to fill our Assistant Branch Experience Manager position for our Dothan (West Main) branch. The Assistant Branch Experience Manager will assist the Branch Experience Manager with the overall operations of the branch. This employee will assume responsibility for the branch when the Branch Experience Manager is absent. In this position, the employee will utilize service skills to deliver a delightful member and staff experience. Functions and Responsibilities would include: Manage branch staff in the absence of the manager. Coach, train, and hold staff accountable for using Avadian's Sales Flow Model. Ensure staff maintains a thorough knowledge of all Avadian products and services with the understanding of their features and benefits, as well as their processes, guidelines, and procedures. Provide consistent communication to staff regarding 90-day action plans, goals and objectives, secret shops, corporate initiatives, and training opportunities. Assess staff members in order to evaluate training comprehension, sales flow model confidence, and operational efficiencies. Ensure all staff has a thorough knowledge of Avadian's client relationship management system (CRM) including referrals, sales and contact events, phone logs, extended information, and reports. Work with the manager to develop, communicate, and implement branch sales goals and directives while maintaining a delightful branch experience. Serve as a liaison between the members and the Credit Union. Provide account information to members, and promote and cross-sell Credit Union products and services. Open accounts, resolve issues, and professionally handle the members within the Credit Union. Cross-sell Credit Union products and services, and follow all directives regarding branch reports and lead list. Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Avadian WHY statement in all actions and words. Represent and promote Avadian in the communities we serve. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Basic Requirements: Significant financial service and sales experience is required. Must be proactive in maintaining member satisfaction and meeting member needs. Must demonstrate the ability to work under a sales goal or sales quota system, and to meet branch sales objectives Must have excellent written and verbal skills, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, decisiveness, and professionalism. Must work on weekends and serve in a relief capacity at other branches when needed. Experience Required: One to three years of retail banking experience. Sales quota experience or sales management experience. Level II additional responsibilities: * Responsible for assisting with all activity after loan closing to successfully service and manage1real estate portfolio, including processing draws and exceptions, reviewing credit ratings, tracking commitment letters and expirations, past dues, etc. * Responsible for coordination and perfection of loan documentation after approval, including attorney, inspector, etc. * Responsible for reviewing credit rating/recommendations, ensuring timely renewals, modifications, extensions, etc. Managing loan renewals, including negotiating terms and handling renewal through the approval process and closing. * Responsible for ensuring accuracy in portfolio, past dues, exceptions, and other responsibilities directly related to portfolio management. * Responsible for representing CRM in OCC and Loan Review, as needed, as it related to portfolio quality and exceptions. * Training and possible management of REA (level I) and RE Secretaries as assigned Qualifications * Junior college/two-year college training or equivalent job related experience (including documentation, customer contact, loan closing, etc.) * Two years knowledge of commercial real estate collateral, security documentation, lien perfection requirements, and loan compliance regulations required * Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and commercial loan software preferred OR * Retail Bank knowledge including product knowledge and sales skills * Knowledge of commercial real estate loan documentation preferred * Interpersonal Skills * Organizational Skills * Communication Skills - verbal and written * Time management skills * Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Level II additional qualifications required: * Minimum two (2) years prior experience as a Real Estate Assistant I or experience in commercial real estate collateral, security documentation, lien perfection requirements, and loan compliance regulations * The ability or experience working with loan systems to help bring loan packaging requirements to completion. * In-depth and functional understanding of Commercial Real Estate and hands-on experience in related loan documentation Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.     The Branch Experience Manager at the SAMC Branch will guide, oversee, train, and evaluate the performance of branch staff and solve problems within established policies and guidelines. In this position, the employee will utilize service skills to deliver a delightful member and staff experience. Functions and Responsibilities: Manage branch staff including coaching, performance, and development. Coach, train, and hold staff accountable for using Avadian's Sales Flow Model. Ensure staff maintains a thorough knowledge of all Avadian products and services with the understanding of their features and benefits, as well as their processes, guidelines, and procedures. Provide consistent communication to staff regarding 90-day action plans, goals and objectives, secret shops, corporate initiatives, and training opportunities.
