POSITION: Janitor, Lead SEASON: Austral Winter LOCATION: McMurdo Station, Antarctica SECTOR/DEPT: Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation (GSC) Antarctica SALARY: $648 - $736 per week ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and assists in the cleaning, maintenance and restocking of supplies in common use areas of dormitories, work centers and recreational facilities, i.e. lounges, hallways, stairwells, toilet and shower areas, laundry areas and recycling centers. Cleans and disinfects surfaces contaminated by bodily fluids in accordance with proper blood borne pathogen procedures Supervises and assists in training of new stewards, demonstrating proper ergonomics and cleaning techniques.
