What you'll be doing:
We are looking for an energetic janitor to keep our facilities clean. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking perfect. To work well in this role, you should have some cleaning experience and basic knowledge of various cleaning products.
Janitor Responsibilities:
General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Cleaning and stock restrooms.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Remove debris and snow from sidewalks.
Ensure doors are locked after hours.
Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
Perform minor repairs.
Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Janitor, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse, parking lot, and other areas as assigned. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
Sweeping and scrubbing the warehouse floor and aisles within pick modules / work areas
Proper operation and cleaning of any equipment (including commercial cleaning equipment)
Emptying waist bins into the compactors and reporting issues if and when necessary
The Warehouse Janitor will also be mitigating safety hazards and maximizing salvage potential in regard to warehouse breakage. This includes separating, sorting and salvaging broken product and thoroughly & timely addressing any slip / trip hazards. Other duties may include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with repacking or item changes as directed
Performing the correct inventory transactions if and when required

Work Environment & Physical Demands
The Night Janitor position operates in a warehouse environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration where the noise level can be loud. This position is also very active and must frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb throughout the day while lifting, stacking, moving and rotating with items, without handles, that weigh up to 50 pounds; push/pull carts with up to 100 pounds of force. This position also requires operating warehouse equipment and regularly to read, write and communicate in English.
Work Schedule
The Warehouse Janitor is a full-time position working Sunday through Thursday starting around 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. Fridays may be required based upon holiday schedules and business needs.

Overview: School Janitor is a part-time position, working 16-19 hours weekly, to clean our school. This position will work with another School Janitor and a Maintenance Specialist to clean our Elementary School daily during the late afternoons and evenings on weekdays, collaborating with him/her. Though this position's primary responsibility will be to clean the 2nd floor of our main school building, the stairwells, and the 2nd floor of the old school building daily, he or she will work as a team with the other School Janitor, and assist each other as needed. Since all of the required work responsibilities, listed under “Primary Responsibilities,” below, cannot be completed daily, the person in this position must have the ability to maintain a tasklist, rotate tasks, and optimize his or her time at work to create a sufficient rotational cleaning task schedule for him/herself and accomplish that task list weekly. He or she will work under the supervision of the Pastor and Maintenance leadership and will receive a cleaning checklist and other task lists and requests. Also, this position works for our internal “client,” the School Principal, who will identify particular areas of cleaning, as needed.
