Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems is seeking either a Maintenance Janitor Level 1 or a Maintenance Janitor Level 2 to join our team of qualified, highly talented and diverse individuals for 1st shift Monday - Friday Shift: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm. Job Duties: Maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition. Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors; removing refuse; polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings; providing janitorial supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, or rest rooms. Cleaning Epoxy, linoleum, tile and other floor surfaces Shampooing rugs and carpets Emptying trash cans Changing air filters and cleaning vents Dusting disinfecting all surfaces. Waxing floors Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed Washing windows Maintaining a thorough inventory Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners Collecting and taking out trash and recycling This role may be filled at a Level 1 or Level 2 based on the qualifications below. Basic Qualifications for Level 1: High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years or experience Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) Basic Qualifications for Level 2: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience working in a maintenance or janitor capacity Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) Preferred Qualifications: Active DoD Secret Clearance Working knowledge of general aspects of the job Ability to perform routine work with detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
