About The Custodial Relief Program The Recreation and Park Department's Custodial Relief Program is a pool of on-call custodians who will temporarily fill in throughout the department's citywide facilities in cases of vacation, illness and other leaves. Employees in this program may work on average between 12 - 16 hours per week, and are expected to maintain availability from 4:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. for at least four (4) consecutive days in the week to meet the needs of the department. Job Description Under supervision, employees in the Custodial Relief Program will be responsible for: 1. Performing routine cleaning tasks; 2. Maintaining interiors of buildings, other facilities and surrounding areas; 3. Certificate of completion of a Custodial Training Program equivalent to the City College of San Francisco Custodial Training program; OR 3. Verification of current enrollment in a custodial training course equivalent to the City College of San Francisco Custodial Training program at the time of application. The Maintenance/Janitor (Unskilled) position is responsible for performing janitorial/maintenance duties within the Oakland Arena-Alameda County Coliseum. Starting at $20.50 per hour. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance duties as assigned (vacuum, sweep, mop floors, clean/sanitation bathrooms, sinks, counter tops and refrigerators; dust and clean interior windowsills/windows and any other areas in need of cleaning.
