Purpose The Janitor maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment across all facility areas. This position ensures operational efficiency and workplace safety by performing routine cleaning tasks, waste management, facility inspections, and other duties as assigned to support overall facility operations. Youll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, wiping, restocking, and trash. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, and experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done. Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of buildings Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily Clean windows and supply restrooms Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs Qualifications Drivers license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
