Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial high-volume digital presses (HP preferred) to produce high-quality print materials that meet customer and company standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in running commercial/industrial presses, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor industrial digital presses to ensure consistent, high-quality output
* Set up print jobs according to work orders, including media selection, calibration, and press adjustments
* Perform color management, registration, and quality checks throughout production runs
* Troubleshoot press issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime
* Collaborate with prepress and finishing teams to ensure files are production-ready and completed work meets specifications
* Accurately document job details, production metrics, and press maintenance activities
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized pressroom environment
* Assist in training and mentoring new press operators as needed
Qualifications:
* Previous experience operating industrial/high volume digital presses (HP PageWide, Indigo, or comparable equipment required)

* Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve press issues
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment

Position Summary:
We are seeking a 1st Pressman to join our night shift team, working from 6 PM to 6 AM for 3 to 4 days per week. In this role, you would be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining commercial web presses while ensuring top-quality output. This role oversees make-readies and production runs, and ensures jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
* Lead all press setups, including mounting plates, adjusting registration, setting ink keys, and bringing jobs up to color.
* Make all final quality decisions on color, registration, density, and overall appearance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, print quality, or material issues during runs.
* Direct the 2nd Pressman and roll tenders in job tasks and workflow.
* Perform advanced press adjustments, calibrations, and routine maintenance.
* Maintain production pace while minimizing spoilage and waste.
* Complete required job tickets, quality checks, and production reports.
* Communicate with supervisors, scheduling, and quality on job progress and concerns.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a lead operator on commercial web presses, with the ability to run jobs from setup through completion.
* Experience with Heidelberg and Goss Web Presses strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions on press operation, color quality, registration, and overall output.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience performing press adjustments, calibrations, and routine maintenance.
* Leadership skills to direct and train 2nd pressmen, roll tenders, and material sorters ensuring efficient teamwork and workflow.

Participate in ARC Flash Electrical Safety Program.

Accounts
* Develop and create situation analysis, strategic guides, SWOT analysis, positioning analysis, marketing communications objectives, strategies and tactics and other strategic planning documents as necessary and appropriate to each client's unique marketing strategies, goals, and objectives
* Create and present deliverables, presentations, and creative and production briefs for clients
* Learn each client's business, including unique business goals and objectives, products, markets, industry, distribution, etc.
* Analyze client's sales and communications efforts to develop ideas to improve effectiveness in market
* Depending on client, may be the primary point of contact for project engagements
* Handle details, including reports, agendas, billing, asset management, estimates, delivery, faxing, internal communications, proofing, etc., for the client.

* Track competitive communications and prepare analysis as needed
Client Relationships
* Build working relationships with appropriate client personnel who interface with the agency

* Build client confidence in the agency, manage client expectations, ensure that client gets "no surprises" and ultimately accepts the agency's thinking and work
Communication
* Provide leadership to ensure all departments of the agency get written and verbal information and direction as needed to "get it right the first time" and to meet quality, budget and delivery expectations
* Provide clear, concise and accurate reports, calls, etc. to clients
* Maintain records of client decisions or approvals, particularly authorizations to proceed with chargeable services
* Keep all members of account teams informed of client acceptance or objections to agency's work
* Keep the team current on issues that may affect the client-agency relationship, especially any problems or indications of dissatisfaction with agency performance that may affect ability to meet or exceed revenue quotas
Administrative
* Represent the agency's mission, capabilities and goals accurately to assigned clients, business development prospects and other potential industry allies (i.e. vendors, peers, etc.)
* Review and approve proposals, estimates, job costs, invoices, and credit memos and resolve any problems. Ensure that client receives adequate explanation for any unexpected billings
* Adhere to Periscope policies and procedures as outlined in the Periscope Handbook
* Maintain high level of professionalism in all internal and external communication, including e-mail, voicemail, correspondence, etc.
* Record expenses and billable time completely and accurately on a weekly basis
* Perform other duties from time to time to meet the changing needs of the agency
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* 1-3 years in marketing/marketing communications/advertising in agency or client organization (agency preferred), or equivalent
* B.A. in business (marketing preferred), journalism or liberal arts with strong business curriculum
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
* Creative problem solving and decision-making skills; excellent judgment
* Strong client management, negotiation and troubleshooting skills

The Material Handler efficiently delivers materials and supplies to department equipment using floor jacks, pallet jacks, high lifts, and/or power jacks.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to maintain an active physical presence on the production floor; this position may require sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, pushing, climbing, moving, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working at heights in an aerial lift
May be exposed to loud noise, ambient temperatures, wet environments, and confined spaces
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating 2 or 3 days per week (includes every other weekend).
Ability to adjust work hours to accommodate business needs; this may include some evenings and weekends

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for assuring exceptional department processes and product quality. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for providing training across the shop floor on quality issues, Quality Control (QC) pulls, new formats, new processes, and compliance-related topics.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform QC checks, verify QC pull compliance, and collect and file QC pulls, daily.
Conduct process audits and provide training on new and existing process compliance as needed.
Enter quality incidents into the quality tracking database, notify responsible parties, and collaborate on corrective actions.
Review and track product cycling through On-Hold areas to report status to pertinent parties.
Issue a daily shift report, documenting quality issues, actions taken, and general communications.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Provide company-wide training on compliance (e.g., safety and quality), new formats, and other general topics, as assigned.
Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
Ability to read and write basic English.
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
Comfortable with learning new software programs, computerized forms, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail required.
Fundamental math skills.
