The perfect person will have:
B.S. degree in engineering (highly preferred), business management, operations management, supply chain management or related field preferred.
2-5 years overall manufacturing experience.
Experience in a supervisory or lead role is highly desired, specifically experience in associate development and safety.
Experience in one or more of the following functional areas is required: manufacturing, distribution, raw materials purchasing, inventory planning controls management, sales and customer service.
Some other nice features to have:
Working knowledge of all facets of manufacturing including continuous improvement, team building, safety, associate relations, quality, and customer service.

Position Summary
Currently, Corby is seeking a Part-time Merchandiser for the territory of Calgary, to join our dynamic Alberta Sales team. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Sales Merchandiser is accountable for building and maintaining customer relationships, at a store level, within their region/territory.

Qualifications

5+ years of safety experience as an individual contributor in construction or industrial fabrication facility or equivalent background, plus 1 - 3 years of previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Must meet ONE of the following criteria:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in safety from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of five (5) years of large project experience in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional
A CSP designation with a minimum of five (5) years in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional.
A CHST designation with a minimum of five (5) years in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional.
A minimum of 5 years' experience on a large project in a construction safety role as a titled safety professional and be current with the OSHA 500/502 Training Course.
Advanced knowledge and ability to enforce all federal state, local and company safety regulations required.
Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures essential.
Good interpersonal and communication skills also required.

Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments (example: hot sun, cold, wet weather, mud, etc.)
