Jasco Tools company history timeline

1972

JASCO Incorporated was founded in Maryland in 1972 to handle operations throughout the Western Hemisphere.

1975

Established in 1975, privately held Jasco Products Company develops innovative consumer products for international omnichannel distribution, including mass merchants, home improvement stores, food and drug retailers, military installations, e-commerce retailers, distributors and direct marketers.

1981

The company was initially formed as JASCO Research in 1981 in Victoria, B.C. by Joseph A. Scrimger (JASCO), a scientist with Defense Research Establishment Pacific (DREP) and an expert in marine acoustic modeling, said JASCO’s product engineering manager John Moloney.

1985

In 1985, JASCO launched one of the first commercial packed-column supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) systems, including the renowned dynamic back-pressure regulator.

1997

Founded in 1997 at The Ohio State University, the Japan-America Society of Central Ohio has had an ongoing commitment to serve the wide and varied needs of the Japanese living in Ohio and Ohioans engaged and interested in Japan.

1999

Beginning in 1999, JASCO has hosted the Ohio Japanese Language Speech Contest for high school and university students.

2005

In 2005, JASCO was one of the first companies to develop an ultra high performance LC system (UHPLC). The current range of chromatography products includes the following:
