Proper knowledge of cleaning procedures for a variety of surfaces including glass, plastic, laminated plastic, stainless steel, wall surfaces and wood. Knowledge of the proper procedures for cleaning and disinfecting restrooms is a must. The ability, knowledge and experience in operating floor care machines such as a vacuum, a steam machine, side by side, scrubber and carpet extractor is highly preferred, but can be trained. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift 75 lbs. weight, one end of an 8ft. table, climb and work from a12 ft. ladder and handle a mop bucket 2/3 full of water work. In addition the candidate must be able to work with typical janitorial cleansers, chemicals and supplies. This position also requires extensive walking, standing, reaching, lifting and bending.
