A member may not be elected for more than two three-year consecutive terms and must not be a board member for at least one year before being eligible again. The Senior Pastor is a voting member of the Overseer Board. The Candidate The Senior Pastor shall know Christ as his personal Savior and be living an exemplary life in accordance with scriptural guidelines for church leaders. He will be sound in his faith and doctrine and qualified to preach and teach the Word of God as led by the Holy Spirit. The Senior Pastor is hired by the congregation. The Pastor and the Overseer Board, led by the Holy Spirit are together responsible for the spiritual direction and vision of the church.
