Position Overview
The Direct Care Worker (DCW) provides personal care and/or related services in the home. She/he functions under the direction, instruction and supervision of the Clinical Director and/or appropriate supervisor. The DCW receives scheduling direction from the Client Services Coordinator and/or supervisor.
Essential Job Functions
Tasks to be performed by a DCW must be assigned by and performed under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and/or appropriate supervisor, who will be responsible for the client care provided by the DCW. Attempts to promote client's mental alertness through involvement in activities of interest

Establishes a relationship with client and family which transmits trust and confidence

Notifies the Company of absences due to illness, emergency leave, normal vacation periods, bereavement or special professional meetings which will affect service(s) with the Company

Possess basic math, reading, and writing skills

This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. You will need to identify swimmers in distress and respond promptly, reporting any rescues, accidents, or incidents to your supervisor while calling for additional help when necessary. Your duties will also include administering first aid and CPR to injured patrons, enforcing the Bureau of State Parks' swimming regulations, and providing guidance on park rules. Regular inspections of safety equipment, such as buoys and first aid supplies, are required to ensure they are in good condition, along with assessing the swimming area for any hazards. Additionally, you will prepare and submit reports detailing swimming conditions and incidents, completing necessary documentation like daily logs and water quality forms, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the DCNR Lifeguard Manual.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
BS in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical preferred) or associate degree (HVAC, MET, EET, etc.) with 4 or more years of relevant experience
Hands on experience with DCS, PLC, HMI and/or DDC systems; experience with Emerson's DeltaV, WonderWare, and Rockwell is a plus.
Working knowledge of networks, especially ethernet, Modbus and bac NET serial/TCP
Strong computer hardware troubleshooting and Microsoft OS and associated programs knowledge
