Her career encompasses work in women’s leadership, HIV/AIDS, behavioral health, strategies for addressing the opioid crisis, prescription drug misuse in older adults, and teen pregnancy prevention services. Her commitment to creating more opportunities for women spans leadership training and volunteer work with groups such as Women for Afghan Women. Ms. Shaw serves on the Boards of the Population Institute, the Population Media Center, and Compassion and Choices.
