Under the supervision of the Aquatics Supervisor, the Concession Crew Member position includes the following duties: * Assists the Pool Managers, Aquatics Coordinators, and Guest Services staff in the daily operations of the aquatics facilities by performing tasks and duties as assigned.
* Independently responsible for concessions stand, food preparation, and customer service at the aquatics site.
* Ensures exceptional food safety standards are maintained.
* Concessions Crew Members are expected to be available throughout the entire season for at least 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week.
* Provides positive customer service to patrons including collecting admission gate fees, selling membership passes, concession and retail sales, and telephonic contact
* Ability to enforce pool rules in a professional manner
* Maintains the office, concessions, parking area, restrooms, building interior and exterior, general pool and playground area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, removes safety hazards
* Adherence to food service rules and regulations set by the Franklin County Board of Health
* Assist with event activities
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. A typical way to qualify is to have completed one year of high school or equivalent life experience and one year of progressively responsible experience at a pool facility is preferred
Licensure or Certification Requirements
* Current American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Administering Emergency Oxygen certificate preferred.
* Current ServSafe Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain before employment is required.

Event & Paddle Boat Crew Member

Event & Boat Crew Members will assist the Recreation Superintendent and Recreation Coordinators with events and services provided by the Parks & Recreation Department including, but not limited to community events, Creekside kayaks & paddle boats, outdoor programming and sport facility operations. Recreation Crew Members will be scheduled to work during day, evening, weekend or holiday hours.
* Assists the Parks and Recreation Department with the Recreation Division's programs and special events. Provides positive customer service.
* Responsible for operation of the Creekside kayaks and paddle boats, which includes checking daily reservations, maintaining boater safety, and providing instructions on how to use the equipment.
* Maintains area cleanliness.
* Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.
