Role Summary
The Senior Learning and Development Specialist will facilitate large scale training and learning programs both virtual and in-person across offices, job sites and other company locations nationwide. This role will be responsible for supporting department and regional leaders with more specialized or unique training solutions. The position requires regular travel, up to three weeks per month, to lead in-person facilitation, support on-site engagement, and collaborate with Operational Trainers. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

The Design Manager is responsible for successful delivery of projects by leading the design participants, process and technology. * Interprets formal design build RFPs and develops work plans, collaborating with preconstruction, operations, and other key stakeholders.
* Understands potential client's business needs and helps create conceptual plans, elevations, 3D models, for support of presentations and win strategies.
* Reviews and understands bridging documents for project compliance with RFP including comprehension of Codes and Criteria to meet the technical requirements and design deliverables.
* Supports early phase basic due diligence activities with clients and key stakeholders to ensure professional studies, jurisdictional & permitting requirements are incorporated into design documents.
* Manages outside design consultants, assuring they meet the technical requirements as well as schedule requirements for design deliverables.
* Manages the design review process with design team and clients to ensure schedules are met and identifies project risks and opportunities throughout the design phase.
* Leverages design experiences and knowledge to work with project teams identifying solutions to project specific challenges while monitoring expectations for design schedules, quality control, and content for design document delivery.
* Generates cost savings and value-added solutions during design phase.
* Monitors and controls our design partner's and consultant's cost through the design development, both cost of project and cost of the design services for added scope.
* Reviews design and provides quality control review comments to ensure the program specifications and life-safety requirements are met.
* Coordinates the design document packaging strategies with the project team.
* Manages project documentation such as proposal, drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, and shop drawings using both 3D and 2D file management system.

Qualifications:

* Serve as key Special Systems Engineering resource to project, providing extensive and comprehensive knowledge, and understanding of contract documents, including plans, specifications, and applicable codes.

Role Summary
The M/E Engineer 2 will complete routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities. This position will be responsible for collecting and assembling data, helping to develop estimates and helping to generate systems and bid analysis. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
ME ENGINEER FAMILY - CORE
* Learns and actively participates in all aspects of the company's safety and quality plans and culture by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
* Completes entry level and routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
* Learns how to develop budgetary M/E estimates, based upon program and schematic design information using automated M/E estimating system.
* Assists in the review of mechanical and electrical options as part of the preconstruction process and completes systems analysis for select projects.
* Learns to develop the mechanical and electrical scopes of work used to coordinate during the bid process.
* Assists in the completion of bid analysis and provides input during the subcontractor selection process.
* Assists in developing sequencing requirements of various systems and providing solutions to meet the schedule requirements.
* Gains knowledge of design documents in order to identify potential quality problems to assist in developing constructability review reports.
* Learns to perform job inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met and work is completed in a quality and timely manner.
* Learns and assists with the shop drawing/submittal process to comply with the contract documents.
* Assists with the commissioning process including developing pre-functional checklists, functional testing procedures and actual functional testing.

In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:
* Helps generate, issue and execute the Commissioning Plan for assigned projects.
* Interacts independently with project teams regarding work product deliverables.

The Prefab Shop Assistant 1 will produce components for multiple construction project types at an off-site manufacturing facility using automated tools and specialized equipment. This position also is responsible for moving raw and partly-finished materials within the facility, packaging finished components and loading materials onto trucks. + Operates a number of types of basic automated equipment to produce metal or wood components
+ Operates manual shop equipment; uses cut list to make repeatable parts
+ Applies basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to production activities, such as cutting parts to size or putting multiple parts together in an assembly
+ Collects multiple components cut to specific sizes and assembles together an end product
+ Packages and loads cut materials and assemblies for transport to project sites
