Wayne, IN. This position works within the team to ensure overall project quality and the performance of daily quality procedures to provide proper coordination and documentation to meet the project standards and requirements. Primary Responsibilities
Ability to work and communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, consultants, and owner representatives. Execute inspections with trade partners to oversee checklist and accuracy before and after inspection. Work with trade partners to ensure documentation is completed and work is installed to a high standard of quality per the project documents, in support of the project schedule.
Review installations and all mockups with the owner, client, and architect. Understand all quality processes, procedures, expectations, and the utilization of tools to ensure project success.
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications including identification of errors or redundancies for resolution by others.
Provide leadership & willingness to take ownership of trade management for yourself and other QA/QC Engineers
Oversee the quality team, and support any documentation and office-based responsibilities to meet construction schedule and specific QA/QC programs.
oEngage in the submittal review process ahead of installation to identify quality concerns and ways to increase quality assurance.
oEngage with O/A/Es & continuously to understand project goals and track the strategies to meet and exceed them. Complete daily field walks with the field team to ensure quality assurance. Regularly review scope installation progress with the field team to ensure quality assurance.
oCoordinate resolution for all systems/tools, data entry, tracking tools, Completion List, Punchlist, NCR, Observations Deficiency Logs, along with other designated software, and provide documentation of all meeting minutes.
Familiarity with a broad range of general construction processes and nomenclature including testing laboratory protocols and procedures.
Coordinate with trade partners for inspection paperwork, manage and train the team on software tools required to manage and execute the quality program.
Create, document and distribute all checklists, inspections, completion lists, punch lists, and reports on the office side. Communicate to facilitate field activities required for issue completion, along with issue durations and due dates with trade partners.
oWork with both office and field staff to understand the project schedule in order to execute the inspection process to support critical commissioning and energization dates.
Participate in Trade pre-installation meetings to verify that each Trade has an understanding of the Project's QC requirements before beginning work on site.
Requirements For This Position Include
3-5 years of management or field construction-focused experience on projects similar in nature, size, and extent.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Proficient in MS-based software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, BIM360, Field, SmartSheet, etc.
Proficient with QA/QC systems, platforms, and technologies that allow for tracking, metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities
Incorporate and lead M.C. Dean's Quality Management System on the assigned project, specifically ensuring:
Control of Documents and Records
Control of Nonconforming Installation
Initiation, follow-up, and closure of corrective and preventive actions.
Document and Implement the Quality Plan tailored to project specifications/contractual requirements
Partner with the project team in understanding the complete scope of work for the project.
Establish and lead 3-Phase Quality Control Process conducting preparatory, initial and follow-up phase inspections.
Collect data from internal inspections on conformity to requirements and compliance to procedures and prepare weekly inspection data log (Field Data Collection Report).
Initiate/Assign/Manage Discrepancy Notices, Corrective Action Reports, Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Identify and provide solutions to project specific issues based on knowledge, experience and outside resources.
Manage the punch list identification and closeout process.
Establish and lead quality initiatives for the project.
Participate in the review of Engineering deliverables (Drawing (Design/Detail), Specification, Submittals) and ensure all comments generated during these reviews are addressed.

Perform inspections on all work performed in detail, efficiently, and in conjunction with Owner/QC.
Collect data, analyze for continuous improvement, and share with project team weekly.

Qualifications:
Must have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science with a minimum of 10+ years' experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager.
Must have at least 2 years' experience as a QC Manager.
Must familiar with EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability

Highlight scrap and rework activity/issues by maintaining the daily and monthly scrap and rework summaries and reports. Provide oversight and coordinate 3rd party peer design and 3rd party testing agencies, implement recommendations as necessary.
Participate in the daily Operational Risk Management (ORM) meetings ensuring Quality items/issues for the scope of the work are discussed.
Assess project performance under the quality management system and provide management, guidance, assistance, and support to the project team as required.
Perform receipt inspections of all procured materials.
Participate and provide logistical support in the execution of internal audits.
Qualifications
Perform Quality Control tasks to include:
Contract document review for compliance: RFP, Specs, Drawings, Submittals, etc.
Review design documents for constructability and contract compliance.
Implement 3-Phase Quality Control approach: Preparatory meetings, Initial inspections, and Follow-up inspections for all applicable Definable Features of Work.
Create detailed project specific installation checklists for field workers.
Perform inspections on all work performed in detail, efficiently, and in conjunction with Owner/QC.
Collect data, analyze for continuous improvement, and share with project team weekly.
Participate in daily safety meetings to discuss Quality issues and concerns.
Attend all required project meetings to provide resolution to any Quality issues from Owner/QC.
Manage and assist in resolving all Quality or Commissioning punch-lists.
Direct interface with GC/Owner to ensure requirements are understood and communicated to the project team.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years construction experience on construction similar to the relevant contract with a bachelor's degree or 15+ with a high school diploma / GED.
The candidate must have the necessary QAQC experience either serving directly as a QAQC manager or in the capacity of Project Manager, Construction Manager, Construction Superintendent, Engineering Manager etc.
Must familiar with EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability

Position Description

work closely with professional and technical staff to perform and lead complex program assignments for developing regulations to control air pollutants (including those contributing to climate change and local air quality impacts in overburdened communities)
work with the California Air Resources Board, other local air districts, community groups, community members, environmental organizations, regulated industries, and other key stakeholders to reduce harmful air pollutants, especially in communities overburdened by air pollution
lead, conduct, and coordinate scientific, economic, and technical research work

Engineering Division
The Engineering Division evaluates permit applications and reviews permit renewals for equipment and operations that emit air pollutants within the Air District's jurisdiction. It provides technical support to other programs and assists businesses, trade associations, agencies, environmental groups, and community members with permitting and compliance issues. The division is responsible for implementing the Air District's Facility Risk Reduction Program to reduce health risks from existing facilities or sources. The position will work on the Air District's Toxic Air Contaminant (TAC) Control Programs, designed to identify, assess, and reduce public exposure to toxic air contaminants. The programs integrate federal, state, and local regulations to:
Monitor and evaluate TAC emissions from permitted facilities through annual emissions inventories and health risk assessments
Implement the Air Toxics New Source Review (NSR) program, requiring preconstruction review and risk assessment for new or modified TAC sources
Operate Facility Risk Reduction Programs, targeting existing facilities to identify, assess, and reduce health risks, especially in communities with disproportionate air quality impacts
