Essential Functions: * Follow cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor, including resident rooms, offices and public areas. * Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas * Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas. * Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms and all public areas. * Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing. * Clean all hallways, stairways and elevators as necessary. * Empty all wastebaskets. * Submit maintenance work orders of general maintenance concerns and/or problems to Maintenance Director or Administrator. * Report to supervisor any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community and any needed repairs to housekeeping or other facility equipment. * Clean and check model rooms and work in concert with admissions to insure that all incoming residents' rooms are cleaned and ready for move-in. * Clean the employee break room when necessary. * Check and refill all paper towel and soap dispensers as necessary. * Assist with laundry duties as directed or as needed including, but not limited to linens, towels, and resident personal laundry. * Follow soiled and clean laundry protocol as directed by supervisor. * Provide inventory of chemicals, supplies, linens as required. * Log water or heat temperatures as required or requested. * Follow infection control and universal precautions policy. * Attend in-services and staff meetings as requested. * Keep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderly. * Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor or Administrator. * Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as requested or assigned. Accountable for ensuring the provision of patient care 24 hours a day. Accountable for assigned clinical operations, patient care activities, coordinating patient care delivery on a daily basis in collaboration with other members of the health care team. Ensures that patient care is delivered in accordance with professional, regulatory, and medical center standards.
Establishes and enforces standards of patient care and nursing practice pertaining to areas of responsibility. Is accountable for developing, implementing, and monitoring unit-based quality improvement programs. Responsible for developing and implementing unit-based goals for the delivery of quality patient care.
Assures compliance with department standards by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of patient care by reinforcing positive outcomes and demonstrating corrective action for identified problems.
Accountable for appropriate patient care based on assignments of appropriate patient assignments, evaluation of patient care and patient/family satisfaction by conducting rounds and intervening accordingly.
Assumes the role of patient advocate to clarify and evaluate ethical and/or legal issues, and supports cultural practices.
Assumes accountability for staff retention by tracking staff turnover rate of all categories of personnel and actively taking steps to ensure the reduction of turnover among her/his staff.
Demonstrates clinical competence by assisting with patient care in order to maintain clinical skills. Spend time on all shifts to assess care and to coach, develop, evaluate and advocate for staff.
Collaborates with the clinical nurse specialist and/or clinical educator to identify, plan, and implement an educational program pertinent to the service and for all level of staff.
Hears and adjusts up to step-two grievances.

We are looking for an individual who is engaged, personable, and focused on collaboration within the L&D leadership team and the Women & Children (W&C) leadership team. The ideal candidate will share responsibility for quality, finance, staffing, and the patient and caregiver experience. This role reports directly to the L&D Manager. The Senior manager, manager, and clinical supervisor work collaboratively to run the department.

Continue to focus on culture work surrounding our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts for patients, caregivers, and providers. Recent accomplishments include the implementation of the TEAMBirth and the Doula and Cultural Navigator programs.
Emphasize quality metrics, including NTSV, and collaborate with the RN team for sustained improvement.
Partner with the CNS, Perinatal Educator, and team on evidence-based practice changes.
Interview and hire experienced staff RNs, travelers, and candidates for the residency/fellowship program for L&D
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in BSN from an accredited school of nursing, or ADN and a commitment to obtain BSN within two years of date of hire.

Essential Functions: * Prepare, wash and store dishes following Facility procedures. Clean dishwashing area. Assist in serving, if needed. Assist cooks in cleaning food serving areas and equipment. * Set up serving carts for each meal as required. Help serve meals to residents' tables following Facility procedures. Bus tables and prepare dishes for washing. Clean dining room tables and chairs as needed. Sweep and clean the dining room area. Set tables for the next meal. Focus on good customer service in regard to foodservice. Works as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen. Adheres to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Purpose:
Under the direction of the Food Services Director, help to manage the operation of the Food Services Department. Including food ordering and accountability, preparation, food delivery and cleanliness in accordance with appropriate health department regulations. Assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
* Culinary arts training or equivalent experience in the culinary arts preferred.
* Must be able to relate positively to residents and families, and to work cooperatively with other employees and vendors.

* Help Food Services Director schedule staff. Assist in orienting new staff. Ensure equipment is maintained and work areas are clean, safe and orderly. Strictly adhere to procedures regarding infection control, food-borne illness prevention, harmful chemical handling, fire, safety and sanitation, promptly addressing any transgression.
* Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner. See that appropriate snacks are available to residents with special dietary needs. Ensure all utensils, dishes, equipment, and work areas are cleaned properly and in a timely manner. Store food properly.
* Attend all required in-service training.
* Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights.
