The Opportunity

The Regional Medical Director of Occupational Medicine is a "player-coach" role, blending strategic oversight, program development, and hands-on clinical practice. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Program Development (20%):
Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy to grow market share and expand Occupational Medicine services.
Standardize clinical protocols, workflows, and best practices across all regional locations to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Partner closely with the sales and business development teams to attract, onboard, and retain key corporate clients.
Analyze regional performance metrics (KPIs), financial reports, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Serve as the clinical subject matter expert during high-level sales presentations and contract negotiations.
Clinical Oversight & APP Supervision (5%):
Serve as the designated supervising or collaborating physician for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, across the region.
Maintain a full supervisory roster, overseeing up to the maximum number of APPs as permitted under your license by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.

Hands-On Clinical Practice (75%):
Maintain a clinical practice based at our Youngsville, LA flagship clinic.
Perform the full spectrum of occupational health services, including workers' compensation injury management, DOT physicals, and pre-employment examinations.
Provide coverage in urgent care as needed, serving as a model of clinical excellence for the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board Certification in a relevant specialty (Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine).
A minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience with a significant focus in Occupational Medicine.
Proven leadership experience (e.g., Medical Director, Lead Physician, or similar multi-site oversight role).
Must hold an active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Louisiana with eligibility to supervise APPs.
Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
Must be a Certified Medical Examiner on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) for DOT physicals.

This is an offshore position at our VR149 compressor station working an 8&6 schedule. Work Schedule is Thursday to Thursday. This position provides instrument and electrical technical support to construction, plant facilities and field operations. As an adjunct Manufacturing Technology instructor, the successful candidate will teach courses in Precision Machining, focusing heavily on hand tools and manual machining. Teaching in both the classroom and laboratory settings, the successful candidate will use a combination of hands-on demonstrations along with classroom/online lectures to teach students machine tool theory and safety as well as a variety of technical assignments and laboratory instruction that will prepare the students to enter today's manufacturing workforce.
This candidate will be experienced and be comfortable teaching theory and methods in conventional (manual) machine tool operation, blueprint reading/engineering drawings, precision (and non-precision) measuring tools, conventional hand tools and layout. The adjunct faculty member will demonstrate procedures and prepare students for possible NIMS and other industry-related certifications.
The instructor will need to use a Learning Management System (LMS) for documentation, tracking, reporting, and delivery of educational/training courses. Experience working with adult learners is a plus.
The faculty member will maintain the highest possible standards of classroom and laboratory instruction; apply innovative teaching and learning methods and keep abreast of new information and developments in manufacturing. The adjunct instructor is expected to conduct assigned classes/labs, develop lessons and applicable assignments to meet learning objectives of class, provide a syllabus for each class, and use learning assessments to improve student learning.
Required Education:

Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of machining experience
Proficient in manual machining and relevant equipment - lathes, grinders, mills, etc.
Proficient in tooling used within the machining industry
