Jeff Wyler company history timeline

1973

Wyler, who founded the company in 1973 as a Chevrolet dealership, on Thursday will receive the Carl H. Lindner Jr.

1986

In 1986, Neil Huffman Mazda joined the group at the Dixie Highway location and the body shop was expanded again with a complete modernization of equipment and processes.

1989

In 1989, Neil Huffman Dodge opened on Shelbyville Road.

1995

In May 1995, the group added Neil Huffman Honda, formerly known as Honda Cars of Clarksville, and Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmoor.

2004

In 2004, the Neil Huffman Chrysler-Jeep dealership opened on Shelbyville road.

2009

In 2009, the group decided to close Neil Huffman Dodge and Neil Huffman Chrysler-Jeep.

2012

And in 2012 they embarked on a multi-year transformation of the other dealership facilities, starting with renovation of the Dixie Highway campus.

2013

Jeff Wyler Automotive, which generated more than $840 million in revenue in 2013 according to the Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100 survey, will rebrand the dealership as Jeff Wyler Kings Nissan.

It currently employs about 1,400 and was listed by Automotive News in 2013 as the 53rd largest automotive retailer in the country.

2016

In August of 2016, the Group purchased O'Brien Gates Chevrolet-Buick-GMC and O'Brien Gates Nissan, both also located in Frankfort.
