JOB FUNCTION:
To create an exceptional customer experience by ensuring all transactions are processed accurately. Keep accurate records of currency and negotiable instruments while following bank policies and procedures. Being part of the Travel Team requires travel between any of our banking centers, as needed. Provide referrals for new products and services based on customer needs on a daily basis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging, educating and building personal
connections with our customers.
Accept and process deposits and withdrawals on commercial, personal, and savings
accounts. Cash various types of checks according to established policies
Count, sort and package currency and coin. Prepare and fill change orders for commercial customers
Use computer system/software to handle all bank offered services
Balance cash daily following standard procedures
Make referrals of bank's services to new and existing customers.
Follow the bank's established sales and service process
Buy and sell money to stay within assigned cash limit
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience
1 year of previous Teller experience
Ability to travel and work at various designated Jefferson Bank locations on a daily basis
Able to work 40 flexible hours per week including Saturdays
Excellent customer service skills while handling variety of duties
Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
Preferred Experience (Optional)
2 years of previous Teller experience
Proficiency in financial platforms such as core system and CRM as well as working with cash
recyclers

Follow the bank's established sales and service process
Analyze customer needs so that appropriate recommendations can be made to new and existing customers
Provide deposit and loan account servicing to existing customers
Conduct follow up phone calls to prospects and current customers
Make outside business development appointment calls for Banking Center Manager
Use provided computer systems/software to handle all bank offered services
Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established bank policies and procedures
May process NSF report for banking center manager
Provides transactional customer service, including but not limited to the following: accept and process deposits, withdrawals, payments and handle other over the counter transactions
Provide information about Jefferson Bank loans up to and including taking the loan applications for consumer lending requests
May assist Commercial Lenders and Private Bankers with loan paperwork, account openings and customer service as needed
Work with Training and Retail Group manager to provide mentoring of new Relationship Bankers
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience
2 years' experience in a financial services environment or a consultative sales environment
Advanced knowledge of bank products and services
Experience providing excellent customer service through various forms of communication (face to face, email, and telephone)
Preferred Experience (Optional)
Knowledge of new account systems
Experience working in a Universal Banker role
Demonstrated success in achieving assigned goals

Two years of College or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience on a year for year basis
Demonstrated ability to interview customer in a consultative manner to determine needs
Excellent customer service skills to include good verbal and written communication

Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task with accuracy and follow assigned tasks through completion
Equipment/Machines/Software
Excellent computer literacy in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Reader)
Ability to work with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, shredders, fax machines and other digital devices
Ability to use Financial Service Platform software

Analyze operations, internal controls, laws and regulations, Board level policies and understand the underlying effect each has on the organization
Supervise or participate on engagements of various IT-related auditable entities to determine whether internal controls are adequate and operating properly, network, systems, and related data are appropriately safeguarded, IT services are available in the event of a major disruption, and compliance with Board policies, standards, selected laws and regulations as they relate to information technology
Be responsible for engagements that are large, new or have emerging risks, and for assigned special projects

Maintain direct communication with team members regarding status of assigned work and potential findings on engagements being supervised to ensure engagement objectives are accomplished, department standards are met, and the engagements are on schedule. Present final engagement reports to line of business managers, under the direction of the Audit Team Leader

Continue professional development through self-training (books, periodicals, memberships in professional groups, etc.) and participation in recommended courses, seminars, and in-house training sessions
Obtain additional advanced certifications as necessary to become proficient in specialized IT areas

What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree - Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security, or other relevant degree plan approved by management
4+ years of experience in IT auditing of various operating system platforms, network infrastructure, IT General Controls, database, and applications, or an equivalent amount of related other audit, financial services, IT or information security experience
At least one certification: CISA CISSP, CSSLP, GSLC, CISM, GISP, CRISC, or other advanced certification as approved by management
