Pilots will be responsible for the overall safety of the crew, barge, tow, and cargo during their watch. Work Schedule: The position requires the ability to work a rotating schedule and live on vessel for extended periods of time. Primarily 5 days/week and 12-hour shifts. 7-14 day trips are possible with this position. Some weekends as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES Safely navigate the barge or tow while assuring the remainder of the crew performs their daily functions. Operate in strict compliance with all company policies and USCG compliance regulations pertaining to drug, alcohol, pollution, and safety. Ensure vessel navigation equipment, VHF Radios, machinery, rigging, and all related equipment are in operating order. Maintenance of an accurate and current log. Timely investigate all accidents occurring during their shift involving boat and crew and make reports to the main office. REQUIREMENTS Must possess a valid U.S. Coast Guard issued Merchant Mariner Credential: Master of Towing Vessels Upon Western Rivers. Must have a valid TWIC card, Radar Observer Certificate and Radiotelephone Operator Permit. Experience in dredging operations and operating on the Missouri River is a plus. The Assistant Football Coach is a full-time position responsible for the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes and assisting in all aspects of the football program. The position's specific coaching assignment will be based on the strengths and experience of the selected candidate, with flexibility for any role on the offensive side of the ball and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a strong overall fit for the program and its culture - committed to player development, teamwork, and excellence. A coordinator title may be considered for a highly qualified and experienced candidate. The position reports to the Head Football Coach. Coordinator-level experience is a plus but not required. Skills: Ability to recruit, coach develop, and teach highly talented student-athletes.
