The Factory Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete flow of materials into, within, and out of the manufacturing facility. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related Field. 5 to 7-years' experience in Food or Beverage Industry or related Field. Direct people leadership experience (2-years' minimum). Food Safety & Quality leadership experience in Food or Beverage Industry or related Field (1-year minimum). FSPCA recognized Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Level II Certification. FSPCA recognized Food Defense Qualified Individual Certification (preferred). Experience leading/supporting GFSI audits (FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC standards). Experience leading/supporting Regulatory audits &/or interacting with Regulatory Agencies (FDA, CFIA, USDA, DoH, etc.). Experience leading/supporting Quality and Food Safety Audits (internal and external audit bodies). Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Food Safety & Food Defense Plans, SOPs and SSOPs in Food or Beverage manufacturing environments. Strong internal auditing and gap assessment capabilities that links back to the foundational Food Safety & Quality Management Systems. Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Food Safety, Food Defense and Quality training programs in Food or Beverage manufacturing environments. Quality Principles: Knowledge and application of quality principles to detect and correct non-conforming conditions using quality problem solving tools (preferred).
Oversee sanitation programs: performance monitoring, employee training, vendor management, and compliance to Quality & Food Safety program requirements. Leverage data analytics tools to monitor real-time Quality/Food Safety data, identify trends and establish robust corrective/preventive action plants to improve Quality, Food Safety and Consumer performance metrics. Coordinate Quality & Food Safety training for site - to include leadership and front- line teams. Lead Quality & Food Safety risk assessment and analysis in partnership with Sector FSQ. Manage issues with non-conforming product to ensure proper control, minimize losses and provide analysis to drive the elimination of future occurrences. Oversee Food Safety Management Systems for site - to include Food Safety, Food Defense, Internal Audit and Corrective/Preventive Action Plan programs. Lead and manage audits and audit outputs, including: GFSI, AIB GMP, Regulatory Readiness and QAS. Manage site Food Safety and Food Defense Plans - to include program compliance monitoring, plan updates, and plane re-analysis activities. Review Sector Food Safety Plan pre-requisite programs, oPRPs, CCPs, and PCs are properly implemented, monitored, and sustainably executed at the site. Review Sector Food Defense Plan vulnerability assessments and Actionable Process Steps are properly implemented, monitored, and sustainably executed at the site. Lead and conduct self-inspection audits to evaluate site compliance to Regulatory, GFSI and GMP standards and ensure cross-functional team engagement. Oversee site Food Safety & Food Defense Team critical task completion, task output management and training program execution. Direct management of Food Safety & Food Defense corrective/preventive action plans - to include effectiveness verification and sustainment activities. Manage flawless execution of Non-Conforming Product Programs at the stie - to include integration and optimization of hold management systems, hold reconciliation controls/compliance processes, and personnel training. Oversee annual review of the site Food Safety & Food Defense standard operational procedures. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $84,000 - $140,650. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
