POSTION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Pricing & Client Arrangements, the Sr. Revenue Cycle Manger will join a collaborative and dedicated team of finance professionals and assist in the management of the full revenue cycle through articulating and applying policies and procedures that drive continuous improvements within client arrangements, billing, and collections. This will include training, quality control, and monitoring of each function of the revenue cycle to ensure and maximize efficiency. This role will serve as a key position within the revenue team as escalation point for colleagues while promoting a collaborative, supportive, and transparent culture. Additionally, this role will serve as the main liaison with members outside of the revenue team including partners and clients. Travel may be required as well as in-office collaboration. This is an exempt position located in our Chicago office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate best-in-class financial services to the firm's largest clients and the partners who represent those clients.
* Identify issues within the revenue cycle and implement process improvements.
* Develop a team of billing coordinators, collections specialists, and client arrangement staff.
* Act as the client finance Subject Matter Expert to advise Partners on areas of inventory management and make recommendations to improve financial performance and client service concerning the pricing, billing, and collections processes.
* Drive process improvement and transformation efforts within the Finance function through ownership of the client dashboard.
* Promote a culture of accountability, client service excellence, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure written documentation of all client management processes associated with managing client requirements compliance is up-to-date and organized in an audit-ready state.
* Prioritize clear, accurate and effective communication with partners, clients, and other business leaders and effectively resolve issues with clients and partners, in order to ensure accurate and timely billing is possible.
* Monitor AR balances and aging, along with client payments against WIP to identify areas of concern. Gather write-off documentation and work with Billing Attorneys, Collections, and Finance Leadership to develop and implement strategies to address issues.
* Create and implement templates and tracking procedures to assist attorneys with monitoring and managing engagements throughout the matter lifecycle, providing reports to management regularly.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE
* Clearly communicating analysis, financial metrics, and budget reports to lawyers to ensure success of individual attorneys and the firm overall.
* Contribute to the development of tools, processes, and procedures to maximize efficiency.
* Work independently and maintain a level of flexibility with respect to working hours due to deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field is required.
* Strong customer service attributes with a result-driven positive attitude.
* Prior experience with major institutional clients in a law firm or professional services setting.
* Deep understanding of billing, pricing, Outside Counsel Guidelines, and e-Billing processes and procedures.

Job Description:
The Knowledge Management (KM) Solutions Specialist reports to the Associate Director of KM Solutions and supports the KM Directors, KM Managers and the broader KM team. As a Firmwide Litigation & Practice Technology (LPT) Senior Analyst at Kirkland & Ellis, you'll play a critical role in supporting case teams through hands-on management of data, databases, document productions, and advanced litigation technology tools.
Working closely with LPT Project Managers and firm leadership, you'll help ensure the secure, efficient, and accurate handling of client data across all phases of discovery and litigation support. * Data & Database Management: Process, convert, and manage electronically stored information (ESI) in accordance with case-specific requirements.
* Technical Execution: Create, configure, and administer Relativity workspaces, Brainspace environments, and other eDiscovery applications.
* Quality & Compliance: Conduct quality control checks on data processing and production deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.

What You'll Bring
* Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; an associate degree combined with relevant experience will be considered.
* Experience: Minimum of 6 years (preferred) in legal technology or eDiscovery support, ideally within an Am Law 100 firm or equivalent service provider.
* Technical Expertise: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with leading eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Reveal), including database setup, search design, and workflow configuration.
* Production & Processing Skills: Strong knowledge of eDiscovery processing tools (Relativity, Nuix, LAW) and demonstrated experience in creating complex document productions.
* Analytics Proficiency: Minimum of 1 year using analytics tools (e.g., Relativity Analytics, Brainspace, NexLP) for machine learning-based review and quality control.
* Programming & Scripting: Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, Python, VBA and scripting languages to convert and analyze data effectively, support.
* Communication & Problem-Solving: Ability to convey technical concepts clearly, respond effectively to stakeholder needs, and identify solutions under tight timelines.

Compensation
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position each of the below locations. POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Specialist will assist the Payroll Manager and Sr. Payroll Analyst in the accurate and timely processing of all US and UK staff and partner payrolls. Under the leadership of the Payroll Manager, this individual will be involved in the compilation of standard operating procedures for US and UK payroll processing and software upgrades and implementations. This individual will also collaborate with the Human Resources and Benefits department to ensure excellent internal customer service and with financial analysts in the preparation of various statistical reports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Accurate and timely preparation of the semi-monthly and monthly disbursement of multi- state and international payrolls including garnishments, benefits and taxes to firm personnel consistent with federal, international and state wage and hour laws.
* Oversight of weekly timesheet submissions, approvals, and leaves of absence for non-exempt and exempt staff.
* "True-up" calculations for semi-monthly non-exempt payroll.
* CSV file upload to ADP Workforce Now (bill backs / personal charges, etc.).
* Implementation of wage garnishment requests.
* Management of the payroll inbox and timely resolution of payroll-related inquiries (taxes, calculations, direct deposits).
* Preparation of relevant management reports, including monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).
* Maintenance of accurate and complete documentation of Payroll standard operating procedures.
* Compilation of information needed for annual audits.
* Collaborate with the Sr. Payroll Analyst and FP&A team in the accurate and timely preparation of the monthly US and UK partner draws and special distributions.
* Work closely with Human Resources and Benefits department on deductions and adjustments.
* Prepare all US & UK payroll-related journal entries, output reports, and wire transfer requests.
* Supply statistical information to financial analysts for budget purposes.

JOB FUNCTIONS
You will be part of a team of certified project managers and a procurement/contracts manager. The team will teach and guide you through your assigned tasks and serve as a mentor to you throughout your experience. You also may also be given the opportunity to take on additional projects of various lengths (short-medium-long term) to help broaden your exposure and network.
Projects within your internship may include, but are not limited to:
* Planning and coordinating assigned projects
* Establish charter, project parameters and project tasks to accomplish objectives.
* Prepares a wide variety of reports for upward reporting, weekly status reviews, and other project/data information as required
* Internal Communications; creation & execution of communications plan
* Change Management plan and support
* Content & assets development (SharePoint site, webpages, videos, trainings)
* Benchmarking: identify gaps, make recommendations & implement new ideas
