The Primary Therapist provides quality and organized psychotherapy and social services for identified clients and families, with special emphasis on treatment and discharge planning needs. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical and obstetrical procedures and perform anesthesia-related procedures. The CRNA evaluates, formulates, and carries out an anesthesia care plan including monitoring and recording patient reaction to anesthesia and modifying the anesthetic plan accordingly. The CRNA transports patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensures appropriate care during the postoperative period. The CRNA may supervise, instruct, and provide feedback to student nurse anesthetists to ensure patient safety. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides pre-anesthetic preparation and patient evaluation. The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides direct medical care to patients requiring hospitalization. They are in charge of accurately filling out the patients' chart, as well as keeping it up to date as diagnoses and evaluation continue. The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner also orders tests, collects data regarding the patients' status, and communicates with patients' family members as needed.
