The Video Journalist is responsible for shooting, writing & editing news stories on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
Will shoot, write & edit news stories on a daily basis for VNN online newscasts, recorded programs and/or other live, station broadcasts - either in the studio or out on location.
Works directly with News Producers/Reporters/Executive Staff on story ideas and development
Presents completed stories that are accurate, journalistically sound, fair and balanced
Will report Live during newscasts and breaking news as needed, either in studio or out in the field
Will coordinate, organize, conduct and video-record interviews
Will develop on-going “sweeps” and “special series” stories
Represents VNN in community related events
Builds relationships with community and contacts for developing story leads
This is a 100% contract/ commission role
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
BA or BS degree or related field experience
At least one years reporting, shooting, writing, and video-editing experience
Must be an excellent writer and communicator in Spanish is a plus not required
Enterprise reporting
Live reporting & online streaming experience

Your role in the store will be to assist the Produce Manager in providing high quality fresh produce.
Daily Operations
* Providing exceptional service to all clientele and sharing your expert knowledge on produce
* Assisting the Produce Manager in maintaining, stocking cleaning, and keeping proper signage in the Produce Department
* Properly culling, rotating, and restocking produce
* Keeping the prep area, walk-in cooler, and sales floor clean
Company Standards
* Following all safety guidelines & reporting any missing or non-functional safety equipment
* Complying with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag
* Completing all company training as required for the produce department
* Staying up to date with the latest training and knowledge available for produce while keeping good communication with other departments
Basic Functions and Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use. Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
