Jet X Delivery Service was established in 1972 as a courier and carting business, delivering products to and from vendors for Eastman Kodak Company.
On August 25, 1982, Michael Barbata became a company stockholder and Vice President after serving as a driver, then as a dispatcher.
The current owners purchased the company in 1998 and are active in the business and in the community.
In 1999, Michael Barbata became the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mara Posner Metzger joined the business in 2002 and, subsequently, became an owner as well.
