The Technical Support Controller monitors fleet performance on a daily basis and provides recommendations for preventative maintenance, ongoing troubleshooting and/or aircraft recovery. The position reports to the Manager of Maintenance Operations Center (MOC).
Essential Responsibilities
* Monitor delays, pilot irregularity reports and other technical interruptions
* Identify necessary actions and provide instructions to prevent recurring interruptions. Coordinate with planning, Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and MOC to schedule and allocate parts/tooling for follow up actions
* Research, develop an action plan with aircraft manufacturing representatives to recover aircraft that are hard AOG
* Perform complex tasks as a joint venture with front line techs to improve skills and competencies
* Maintain and distribute records of actions and resolutions
* Periodically report trends and recommendations to Tech Manager(s) and Air Transport Association (ATA) responsible Engineers. Collect front line data that will attribute to organizational effectiveness
* Assist in identifying necessary manual revisions or issuing Info Notices and/or Maintenance Alert Bulletins (MABs) for more effective troubleshooting. Support the Save Our Spares (SOS) and No Fault Found (NFF) policy programs
* Reviews Service News Letters (SNLs) and Airline Operator Telex (AOTs) for troubleshooting information
* Liaise with ATA Engineer, MOC and provide technical assistance and guidance in troubleshooting assignments for Blue Maintenance cities to reduce out of service (OOS) time
* Act as a leader during road trips to reduce OOS times when requested
* Review aircraft Health Diagnosis software (Health Monitoring software DFDR) for symptoms of system degradation and issue appropriate action
* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to achieve departmental and company objectives
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
* High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma with five (5) years' experience in aircraft maintenance, aircraft systems and troubleshooting with a Part 121 operator; OR a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with five (5) years' experience in aircraft maintenance
* Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
* Strong ability to troubleshoot complex aircraft system
* Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and procedures
* Strong knowledge of aircraft documentation (Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), Fault Isolation Manual (FIM)/Troubleshooting Manual (TSM), Wiring Diagrams (WDs), Aircraft Schematic Manual (ASM), etc.)
* Diverse experience in all aspects of technical operations and aircraft systems
* Available for overnight travel (30%)
* Available to travel to support the recovery of OOS aircraft when needed and on short-notice
* In possession of or the ability to obtain valid travel documents with the ability to travel unrestricted in and out of the United States
* Depending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs Clearance

Summary of responsibilities:
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and repair with precision measuring and testing instruments.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Ensures the proper functioning of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial equipment and test equipment throughout Stationary GSE in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to log inventory levels; anticipating need; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt.
Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
External Applicants Only - Ground Maintenance Technician (Stationary) hired to work at the LGA airport receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You will receive $2,500 after 90 days of employment and the remaining $2,500 after 180 days of employment.

400 Hz Generator/Inverter Ground Power: Strong understanding of electronic and electrical components and proficiency at identifying problems and repairing and rebuilding them. A background in 400 Hz, testing equipment as needed to perform repair/overhaul, and the ability to read electrical schematics and drawings are required. Familiarity with Jetpower II, Jetpower Plus, and CSI units. Experience operating passive and resistive load banks and working in an electronics environment.

Operations:

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Manage Accounts Receivables processes, including receiving, safeguarding, deposit and recording of receipts and assisting in the Credit Management process, ensuring Customers remain within agreed credit and payment terms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revenue recovery and resolution of assigned Accounts Receivable portfolio through verbal and written communication with Commercial Customers, Sales, Billing and Account Management teams
Proactively identify problem accounts and follow up via email/telephone to effectively resolve issues.
Build key relationships with Customers and Internal Staff
Record receipts in exp.o Accounting system and allocate per the remittance advice. Ensure no receipts remain unallocated at month end and provide support to the Banking/Treasury team for unidentified receipts
Cash application of EFT, ACH, wire and check payments
Create and post Journal Vouchers to reconcile accounts and resolve accounting issues
Generate and deliver timely Statements, and perform timely reconciliations.
Provide up to date detailed collection notes listing actions on every past-due invoice in the ARCM system (Accounts Receivable Collection Management).
Maintain a filing system in accordance to internal and local document retention policies (i.e. upload the remittance advice to the deposit in exp.o Accounting).
Produce Exception Reports for the Weekly AR Meeting per company AR Goals (Aging Analysis, No Bad Debt, 100% Collection within Terms, No OCL (Over Credit Limit)) and maintain meeting minutes.
Prepare the bad debt calculation and the bad debt roll forward schedule for the monthly P&L.
Assist Accounting Manager with Credit tasks in line with the Global Credit Policy (maintain Customer payment terms, company rating & risk rating; evidence in e.doc Global Lookup the establishment and approval of credit in the BCR system (Branch Credit Request) and performance of annual credit reviews).
Assist in Internal Control Evaluations and Internal/External Audits by preparing required information/documentation.
