Purpose The store clerk reports directly to the store manager and indirectly to both the assistant store managers and shift leaders. General Description: Cross Docks is the practice in logistics of unloading materials from an incoming semi trailer as well as other departments onto an outbound semi trailer with little to no storage in between. The Cross Dock has different work assignments that can change from day to day. If you like working in a fast-paced environment and learning new things, the Cross Dock can offer that and more! Duties & Responsibilities: Team Members will use forklift, powered pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to receive and ship orders to our stores. Manual work including breakdown freight, repalletizing product, wrapping pallets, labeling pallets, and housekeeping projects are included. Responsibilities include completing daily assignment in a safe and timely manner while meeting department productivity and accuracy standards. Being able to work alone or in a group with a sense of urgency to meet our stores/guests needs. Responsibilities Operates a cash register efficiently and performs checkout procedures at or above expected performance standards including, but not limited to, minimum transaction time per item rate and accurate handling/counting of cash, EBT, debit cards, credit cards, WIC vouchers, gift cards, coupons and checks Follows all check-out and cash handling procedures and policies Consistently meets or exceeds set standards involving the handling, stocking, and maintaining of grocery, frozen, dairy, smoked meat, and all perishable products Assists with unloading delivery trucks Stocks product on platforms, shelving, peg hooks and in baskets or refrigerated cases as needed Handles power and non-powered equipment and hand tools to move stock as needed after properly trained Retrieves carts from the parking lot Maintains excellent store conditions Maintains a safe and clean working environment Completes cleaning duties as assigned, including floors, windows, display cases, shelves, register area, backroom, restrooms, parking lot, and other fixtures Provides excellent customer service, which includes but not limited to, communicating in a friendly/courteous manner Assists store management in training other store team members Maintains proper rotation for dated and undated products Ensures products have price tags/signs and are displayed per company guidelines Protects company property, funds and merchandise Properly displays, trims, packages, and fills authorized fresh produce Assists fresh meat personnel as needed Performs other duties, including working in other areas of the store, as assigned About You Must be 18 years of age or older High School diploma or equivalent preferred Proven, efficient retail sales experience; experience in dry grocery, perishable, meat, general grocery, cash management and excellent customer service preferred Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills Must be able to read, write and speak in English Demonstrate effective oral and written communication, interpersonal skills Proficiency in basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and basic computer skills Must be dependable and flexible to work scheduled shifts, including a willingness to work in other areas of the store as needed with little or no advance notice Must adhere to safety standards Must adhere to a uniform dress code Physical Requirements Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing 20-50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift; at times, product weight could be 50-80 pounds Must have the ability to stand, walk and / or move about for extended periods of time Requires the ability to push, pull, grasp, twist and use sawing motions for extended periods of time Regularly works in freezers, coolers, refrigerators, inside and outside of the store in all weather conditions and inside delivery trucks Competencies Collaborates: Works cooperatively to achieve shared goals Action Oriented: Takes initiative to meet objectives Drives Results: Pushes self to achieve goals and results Communicates Effectively: Delivers clear messages and adapts communication to different situations and #LI-DNI

Stocker - Produce Department: Produce Supervisor: Produce Manager FLSA: Full/Part Time, Hourly, 8-10 Hour Shifts, Union Restaurant Depot is a wholesale cash-and-carry foodservice distributor. Position Summary: Responsible for providing prompt and courteous customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining clean and safe work areas throughout the warehouse. Essential Functions: * Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service. * Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves * Organizes and front faces items on shelves * Perform the proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations * Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages. * Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing * Follows program to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath. * Continuously reviews status of department floors for safety hazards. Promptly and safely handles any spills and removes any trash such as plastic wrap, plastic ties, pieces of wood or any other trash gets immediately removed from the floor and discarded appropriately. * Works with Hi-Lo operators to ensure that the selling floor remains stocked & safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves. * Promptly informs supervisors of any low stock/out of stock merchandise. Physical demands include, but are not limited to: * Walking/standing on concrete up to 10 hours/day * Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending * Frequently pushing/pulling objects 500 to 1,500 lbs. * Frequently lifting/carrying objects more than 60 lbs. Work Environment: * Requires frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures * Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters) * Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned. * May be required to work in other departments as needed.
