A Direct Support Professional works with clients in a residential treatment setting and is responsible for ensuring that those portions of the treatment plan, which deal with day-to-day and independent living skills, are implemented. Acting as a positive role model and providing therapeutic services, the Direct Support Professional is charged with the fundamental responsibility of the client's health and safety.

Audits internal and external facilities and quality control programs.
Leads protocols and compliance standards for all assigned manufacturing facilities.
Maintains appropriate documentation for all ICC and third-party stucco programs, along with obligatory (annual) testing for products, DOT weights, and measure requirements for specific products and processes.
Maintains QC/QA programs in conjunction with QUIKRETE and Spec Mix protocols.
Sets color limits on all colored mortar processes and routinely checks the manufactured established limits to the standard. (Ensures that color standards are reviewed annually and recalibrated based on composite manufactured products each year).
Monitors and investigates all supply chain vendors that can directly impact the established color metrics or mortars.
Develop, implement and maintain the company's quality assurance protocols.
Ensures testing equipment is certified and meets the need of the customer, regulations, and protocols.
Inspects facilities to ensure control practices are within acceptable limits.
Collaborates with production and operations teams to ensure the highest quality of products.
Conducts training and helps develop personnel to achieve corporate goals.
Familiarity with cGMP's, BMPs, and laboratory procedures.
Ensures that all Quality Standard standards, protocols, and manuals are maintained and adhere to established requirements to maintain compliance.

We are searching for a studio assistant to help packing website orders for customers and wholesale orders for retailers, as well as assist with ongoing with production of MLE's accessories. This is a part-time role with a minimum of 1-3 days per week, with approximately 4-6 hours of work each day.
Please note this role is on site at MLE's headquarters in Saugerties, New York.
Tasks will include:
* preparing for & assisting with photo shoots
* maintaining an orderly studio environment by thoroughly cleaning & organizing studio after production & packing work
* minor jewelry assembly, including cutting chain and opening/closing jump rings
* cutting and ironing fabric
* sewing with an industrial sewing machine and serger
* cutting and stitching leather

Qualifications of a Unit Manager include:
Valid state RN nursing license
Advanced degree or certification preferred

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care of patients in the ED. Promotes teamwork with physicians, mid-level practitioners and personnel of other departments. Is accountable for adhering to all standards of emergency nursing care and for managing supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Register patients, obtaining signatures for consent of treatment and assignment of insurance benefits when registration is unavailable.
Obtain copies of insurance cards and ID when registration is unavailable.
Complete all ED forms with handwriting that is legible and neat.
Assist in ED record documentation as allowed by NYSDOH. Obtain vital signs, complaint and height/weight as needed, completion of history and medication reconciliation.
Enter orders.
Perform fingersticks for glucose testing.
Assist with ambulance communication, pre hospital and hospital, from the ED.
Xerox copies of medical records.
Assures proper charge items are entered into electronic medical record.
Orders supplies as needed. Keeps the ED clean and neat.
Retrieves medical records from HIM when department is closed.
Performs 12 lead EKGs, applies cardiac monitor, NIBP, and pulse oximeter.
Proficient in IV venipuncture skills.
Ensures collection, labeling and delivery of specimens.
Transports and moves patients safely and appropriately.
Assist MD/PA/NP with surgical or invasive procedures, i.e. suturing, insertion of chest tubes, etc.
Maintains sterile/aseptic technique.
Cleans instruments in proper solution for return to Central Supply.
Obtains ice from acute care for ED use.
Assists on acute care when there are no ED patients.
Is knowledgeable of location, care and use of emergency department.
Knowledge of policies, procedures specific to the ED.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently licensed in the State of New York. Membership in a professional organization suggested.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of acute care experience required.
Minimum of 2 years critical care or emergency room experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
Demonstrates sound clinical skills; knowledge of Hospital structure, objectives and standards of practice, positive communication skills.
Training/License:
NYS Registered Nurse license required.
Basic Life Support, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
TNCC and ENPC certification required within one year. CEN preferred.
