Position Summary: The Pickleball Instructor supports the growth of the JCC's expanding Pickleball program by providing high-quality individual and group instruction for players of all ages and skill levels. This role promotes a positive, welcoming environment and ensures that participants have a safe, fun, and development-focused experience on the court. The instructor is a visible ambassador of the JCC, delivering exceptional customer service and helping strengthen community engagement through Pickleball programming.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide professional instruction for private lessons, semi-private lessons, group classes, and clinics.
Develop lesson plans that support skill development for beginners through advanced players.
Manage, supervise, and facilitate court play to ensure safety, fairness, and smooth transitions.
Create a welcoming, enthusiastic atmosphere that encourages participation and sportsmanship.
Communicate clearly and positively with participants, parents, and members.
Demonstrate the ability to teach players of all ages and ability levels.
Promote pickleball programs, lessons, and events through active engagement with members and prospective participants.
Assist with program set-up, equipment needs, and basic court maintenance when required.
Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate scheduling changes promptly.
Represent the JCC with professionalism, modeling exceptional customer service at all times.
Support special events, tournaments, and pickleball initiatives as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, move actively, and instruct on the court for extended periods.
Ability to lift or maneuver up to 25 lbs. (equipment, nets, etc.).
Must be able to visually and audibly observe participants to ensure safe play.
Qualifications
Certification through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PBR), Pickleball Coaching International (PCI), International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA), or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
1-2 years of experience instructing pickleball lessons, clinics, or comparable racquet sports.
Experience teaching both individual and group lessons.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic.
Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups and skill levels.
CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 2 months of hire.
Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends.
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise active court play.
Ability to market, promote, and help grow JCC pickleball programs.

Under the direction of the Assistant Program Director to support the academic and workforce development goals of the EXCEL Adult Literacy and Workforce Development program.
Provide basic education to adults and out-of-school youth while creating a nurturing and supportive environment
Teach, develop, and help prepare adults to master subtests which consist of four sections of the GED Test which include, reading, writing and comprehension skills in the areas of: Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA*), Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies.
Prepare lessons and instructional activities based on student interests, ability level, English proficiency, and other factors in the class
Plan classwork and homework assignments to support students' understanding of course objectives and basic skills for literacy
Develop weekly class assessments to measure each student's mastery level of benchmark skills and determine progress in the class
Provide instruction to students using a variety of sound teaching methods, such as whole class instruction, collaborative practice, and independent task completion, while developing problem solving skills in adults
Review progress with students throughout the year in individual meetings and discuss methods to help make improvements
Create units of study based on common course objectives, best practices in education and tested skills on the GED assessment
Maintain an orderly classroom during instruction and other times by establishing procedures for students and expectations for behavior
Research, evaluate and assess adult literacy issues appropriate to adult literacy programs.
Improvise their job opportunities

This is a nine-month, tenure track position that reports to the Head of the Department of Agricultural Sciences. WTAMU is located in the Texas Panhandle, one of the largest cattle feeding areas in the world (6 million head annually), and one of the most prolific crop-producing areas in the world, (14 million acres of cultivated cropland), both of which are multi-billion dollars industries. The highest total value crops in the region are wheat, corn, ensilage, hay, sorghum and cotton. The position will focus on the various aspects of agricultural economics including but not limited to management, marketing, finance, policy, trade, and retail sales and will provide support to the current academic track to increase the enrollment at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. WTAMU is a four-year academic institution with more than 9,000 students including more than 1,150 students in the department granting Bachelor, Master of Science, Master of Agriculture, and Doctoral degrees. The department offers the following degrees related to the discipline: B.S. degree in Agribusiness, B.S. degree in Agricultural Business and Economics, M.S. in Agriculture with an emphasis in Agricultural Business and Economics, M.Ag, and a Ph.D. in Systems Agriculture.
Work Performed:
Teach a minimum of 9 hours per long semester. Teaching opportunities may include face-to-face and/or online formats.
Contribute to a strong teaching program in the agricultural economics/agribusiness area with emphasis in at least one of the following areas: production and resource management, finance, international trade, policy, or management.
Develop a research program in an area of agricultural economics/agribusiness.
Secure extramural funding for research and scholarly activities.
Advise M.S. and Ph.D. graduate students in various areas of Agricultural Business and Economics.
Publish research findings and syntheses in refereed journals.
Develop collaborative programs with scientists in other agencies, universities, and the agriculture industry.
Develop strong industry relationships with agribusiness professionals in the region/state.

The district is looking for a dynamic educator to teach drivers education at a rural school with approximately 200 students (7th-12th), 20 certified staff members, and 20 classified staff members. Mission Valley is a member of the Flint Hills League which includes (Osage City, Lyndon, West Franklin, Chase County, Alma-Wabaunsee, Morris County, and Cair Paravel).
Mission Valley is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Topeka, 35 miles north of Emporia, and 45 miles southeast of Manhattan. The USD 330 school district is comprised of the rural communities of Dover, Eskridge, and Harveyville.
This position would be conducting the driving requirements for drivers education. The classes would take place in the summer of 2026. The classroom portion is completed using Greenbush.
Qualified individuals should possess the following credentials/qualities:
* Hold a current and appropriate Kansas teaching license or be able to obtain and receive the appropriate initial teaching license.
* Establish a classroom environment that is conductive to learning, innovative and student centered. Average class size is 25-30.
* Promote high standards for student performance, positive peer interactions and appropriate social behavior.
* Work cooperatively with other school personnel and parents/guardians

Instructional Duties
Classroom Instruction: Teach state traffic laws, rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and the importance of vehicle safety.
Behind-the-Wheel Instruction: Provide hands-on driving lessons, focusing on vehicle control, space management, and developing safe driving habits.
Curriculum Implementation: Deliver the driver education program following Kansas Department of Education (KSDE) standards, which includes specific hours of classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.

Mission Valley USD 330 is located approx. 30-50 minutes from Topeka, Lawrence, Manhattan, and Emporia. We are a 2A district with our Elementary/Junior High and High School both centrally located at the same site between the towns of Eskridge, Dover, and Harveyville.
In August 2022 the district patrons voted to pass a $12 million bond to upgrade the current facilities. This project included a secure entrance at the 7-12 entrance, 7-12 office renovation, renovated science classrooms, renovated Vocational Agriculture Education building, new Career Technical Education center, new softball & baseball field complex, new all-weather track, new artificial turf football field, and other upgrades to current infrastructure. Job Description
The Chemistry Program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track Instructor of Chemistry to begin Fall 2026. This is a renewable position, subject to performance and departmental needs. The major responsibility of this position will be to teach undergraduate courses, primarily Organic and General Chemistry. In addition, the faculty hire may be expected to coordinate undergraduate chemistry teaching laboratories, supervise teaching assistants and oversee curriculum reform efforts. The successful candidate would ideally have significant experience and/or a demonstrated interest in improving chemistry undergraduate curricula (Organic and General Chemistry).
Department
The Chemistry Program is part of the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (PENS). It offers both undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) degrees in chemistry. In the fall of 2026, the program will become a separate department, known as the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Community Access Unlimited (CAU) is seeking a dedicated Life Skills Instructor to support members of our Day Program in reaching their goals for independence and personal growth.
๐งญ General Description
As a Life Skills Instructor, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting adults with disabilities through meaningful daily activities, work training, and community-based experiences - all while ensuring their safety, well-being, and inclusion.
๐น Requirements
High School Diploma required.
A background in education or experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Preference given to candidates with prior experience in employment services and/or providing direct support.
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable car for work purposes.
Willingness to attend mandatory paid orientation and ongoing training. Training schedules are flexible and are offered during day and evening hours.
๐ง Responsibilities
Assist in implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
Ensure members' health, safety, and medication administration
Train and assist with daily life skills
Encourage and support community participation and plan activities in the community
Maintain appropriate staff-member relationships
Keep records sharp and updated in Carelogic (our Electronic Health Record)
Know your way around Microsoft Office
