Position Summary: The Pickleball Instructor supports the growth of the JCC's expanding Pickleball program by providing high-quality individual and group instruction for players of all ages and skill levels. This role promotes a positive, welcoming environment and ensures that participants have a safe, fun, and development-focused experience on the court. The instructor is a visible ambassador of the JCC, delivering exceptional customer service and helping strengthen community engagement through Pickleball programming. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide professional instruction for private lessons, semi-private lessons, group classes, and clinics. Develop lesson plans that support skill development for beginners through advanced players. Manage, supervise, and facilitate court play to ensure safety, fairness, and smooth transitions. Create a welcoming, enthusiastic atmosphere that encourages participation and sportsmanship. Communicate clearly and positively with participants, parents, and members. Demonstrate the ability to teach players of all ages and ability levels. Promote pickleball programs, lessons, and events through active engagement with members and prospective participants. Assist with program set-up, equipment needs, and basic court maintenance when required. Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate scheduling changes promptly. Represent the JCC with professionalism, modeling exceptional customer service at all times. Support special events, tournaments, and pickleball initiatives as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, move actively, and instruct on the court for extended periods. Ability to lift or maneuver up to 25 lbs. (equipment, nets, etc.). Must be able to visually and audibly observe participants to ensure safe play. Qualifications Certification through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PBR), Pickleball Coaching International (PCI), International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA), or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire. 1-2 years of experience instructing pickleball lessons, clinics, or comparable racquet sports. Experience teaching both individual and group lessons. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic. Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups and skill levels. CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 2 months of hire. Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends. Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise active court play. Ability to market, promote, and help grow JCC pickleball programs.

The USD 330 school district is comprised of the rural communities of Dover, Eskridge, and Harveyville. This position would be conducting the driving requirements for drivers education. The classes would take place in the summer of 2026. The classroom portion is completed using Greenbush. Qualified individuals should possess the following credentials/qualities: * Hold a current and appropriate Kansas teaching license or be able to obtain and receive the appropriate initial teaching license. * Establish a classroom environment that is conductive to learning, innovative and student centered. Community Access Unlimited (CAU) is seeking a dedicated Life Skills Instructor to support members of our Day Program in reaching their goals for independence and personal growth. ๐Ÿงญ General Description As a Life Skills Instructor, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting adults with disabilities through meaningful daily activities, work training, and community-based experiences - all while ensuring their safety, well-being, and inclusion. ๐Ÿ”น Requirements High School Diploma required. A background in education or experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Preference given to candidates with prior experience in employment services and/or providing direct support. Possess a valid driver's license and reliable car for work purposes. Willingness to attend mandatory paid orientation and ongoing training.
