Marci Glazer joined the JCCSF as the CEO in August 2014. Marci has served on the JCCSF board in varying capacities for four years. Prior to joining the JCCSF full-time, Marci was Executive Director of the Flip Video Spotlight Program at Cisco Systems where she established partnerships with more than 3,000 charitable organizations. Marci has also held several senior executive roles in product development, technology, and marketing across a wide range of startups, including Pure Digital Technologies, Airena, Jupiter Communications, FamilyWonder.com and CMP Media. She began her career working on environmental policy for The Center for Marine Conservation (now The Ocean Conservancy).

Though Marci’s forebears followed the Brooklyn Dodgers west, she long-ago forswore the Dodger Dog for Lou Seal and garlic fries. Marci and her daughter Samantha live in San Francisco.

David has over 15 years of leadership experience in educational and cultural organizations. Beginning as an educator and programmer, he developed his skills to lead program teams creating experiences that improve people’s opportunity to learn, connect, and make meaning together.

Most recently, David was the Executive Director of Kevah, an innovative Jewish education company offering customized learning for adults. David was previously Director of the Taube Koret Center for Jewish Peoplehood at the JCCSF, where he built a team that elevated Jewish and SF civic life through programming designed to be both “more Jewish and more universal.”

David started his career teaching in the Los Angeles Unified School District and running a Jewish summer camp in Pasadena. He served as the Director of Family Education at Wilshire Boulevard Temple, and as a Program Director in Israel with Nesiya, a trip that combines outdoor adventure, arts workshops, community service projects, cultural activities and creative Jewish expression.

Jim Kirk

Jim has over 18 years of senior financial and operations experience in the non-profit industry. Prior to that he ran a boutique hotel management company on the west coast. During his first stint with the JCCSF he served as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and was instrumental in the opening of the new building in 2004 and ramp up of programming. He then joined the San Francisco Symphony as the Chief Financial Officer for 8 years before returning to the JCCSF in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer.

Jim was raised in the East Bay and has been a San Francisco resident for the last 40 years. He has served on the board of the Children’s Council of San Francisco in various roles for the last 6 years. His commitment to diversity and equal rights for all has driven his personal and professional growth.

Jim has two adult children, Scarlett and Sterling, each following professional careers in business and lives with his wife Audrey of 30+ years.

Robert Wise joined the JCCSF in April 2018 as Chief Development Officer after a 25-year career in fundraising and non-profit management. Most recently, Robert has been an independent non-profit management and fundraising consultant based in Southern California. His distinguished fundraising and management career include positions at the Jewish National Fund, EastWest Institute, American Friends of Tel Aviv University, and The RAND Corporation.

Robert has a lifelong commitment to the Jewish world. Just days after graduating from high school in Southern California, Robert left for Israel where he studied Hebrew on Kibbutz and enjoyed getting to know Israelis first-hand - relationships he has maintained to this day.
