POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for quality review of charts and documents under the regulatory licensing standards in order to ensure program efficacy and compliance; alternate administrator for Electronic Health Record system. Our QA Coordinator will:
Select charts, uses census tracking form for monthly chart-compliance audits. Complete audit forms, analyze charts for adherence to evidence-based practices.
Monitor unit/agency procedures to offer strategies for improvement to meet chart compliance and best practices.
Track and monitor the completion of unit treatment, admissions/discharges, and adherence to outreach policy.
Participate in audits of all Behavioral Health programs to ensure agency compliance with regulations and standards.
Maintain an intricate knowledge to assist with administrative management of Electronic Health Record System (EHR); provide new user support in maneuvering the EHR.
Complete accurate and timely reporting of incidents
Support medical practitioners and use enhanced follow-up procedures to assure the accuracy of notes, completion of signatures, and consents.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Job Description
Position Overview: JFK's Recovery Therapists provide social and psychotherapeutic services to adults with mental illness in a recovery focused program. A professional with specific training and desire to support clients exploring gender identity will:
Help queer and trans identified persons through the process of coming out to friends and family
Assist trans identified persons in navigating the process of identity development as they move through transition
Provide for the needs of the person-in-recovery (PIR) based on the principles and philosophy of recovery; maintain clinical responsibility for the treatment of mental illness and/or substance abuse problems.
Conduct treatment for PIR in the office, home or community, incorporating individual, family and couples' therapy techniques.
Assist PIR with getting access to trans affirming medical care including assistance to access hormone therapy and surgery, as needed. Facilitate referrals to other appropriate internal and/or external resources where indicated
Provide letters of support for gender confirming surgeries
Use skills to provide evidence-based treatment services, i.e., cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing
Identifying resources within the Philadelphia community for medical, social, legal, and employment assistance.
Work with affiliated programs to support the care of LGBTQIAA+ persons accessing services

Training & Experience:
Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling or related discipline from an accredited university.
Training and experience with issues specific to the LGBTQIAA+ community

Full certification as an addiction's counselor by a statewide certification body and
