Service Technician Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer's perspective comes first

About the Role:
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:
Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training)
Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler (this part does require getting physical!) and regularly inspect the car-hauler to make sure the vehicle maintains safe to drive
Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system

Job Summary: Responsible to identify and improve the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiencies, reduce cost and increase customer service
Essential Functions:
Responsible for execution of corporate guidelines in all aspects of manufacturing.

Oversee efficient lay-out of the manufacturing process, work flow in accordance with lean methodology with the objective of eliminating waste.
Develop and Provide guidance with a detailed request for quotation for suppliers for tooling, integration and products of new or potential programs within corporate guide lines.
Detailed analysis of quotations providing detailed presentations to corporate executive management recommending potential sources.
Develop and provide guidance for negotiating competitive sourcing of suppliers for all aspects of new programs.
Develop and provide guidance for a detailed purchase order to suppliers within corporate policy and procedures.
Develop and provide guidance to the manufacturing facility in selection of a strong team to have the ability to launch flawlessly.
Coordinate and manage "run-offs" at equipment vendors against "accepted corporate criteria" as outlined in the terms and conditions of the purchase order ensuring full coherence of corporate polices procedures and practices.
Responsible for the development of in-house manufacturing processes, equipment, fixtures and tooling.

Conduct detailed studies providing a detailed action plan and execution for cost reduction, quality improvements and optimization of the manufacturing process to increase profitability.
Ensure manufacturing and assembly processes comply with pertinent health, safety and environmental legislation, practices and procedures.

Supports in the development of Process flow charts, Control Plans, PFMEA, DFMEA and Proto-type builds.

Trouble shoot process/equipment related issues and fine tune process to eliminate process-induced defects.
Review processing methods and provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities.
Ensure good housekeeping for the department and work area is tidy and organized at all times.
