Understand and proficient use of mix center to support special paint requirements. Troubleshoot daily problems within your focus factory. Maintain the paint kitchen and work area - 5S organization, cleanliness, grounding of containers, floor paper, receiving paint, loading paint dollies, and waste drum disposal (labeling and maintaining records). Maintain documentation in a daily logbook of repairs, activities, and Preventative Maintenance (PM's). ***Assist Paint Equipment Contractor/maintenance personnel with managing and maintaining the spare parts inventory system within your focus factory. Interface with outside suppliers pertaining to paint related products and services. This could include lead times and stocking levels. Interface with internal maintenance staff and/or paint equipment contractor. Detect and report defective materials, improper operation, and unusual conditions to proper management. Support staff for this job function will include paint area's supervision, manufacturing engineer, maintenance personnel, and facility manager. Support Quality Initiatives (internal EE training/external training from supplier product technicians). Where applicable, functioning cranes for paint operations and internal transit is required. Other duties as determined by reporting management.
