What this job involves - As an Instrumentation Technician at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing the sophisticated building systems that keep our clients' facilities running seamlessly. This role involves installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation and control systems across commercial real estate properties. You'll work with cutting-edge technology including HVAC controls, energy management systems, fire safety equipment, and security systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Working within our culture of collaboration, you'll partner with engineering teams, facility managers, and vendors to implement preventive maintenance programs and respond to critical system issues. What your day-to-day will look like: Perform calibrations on process equipment, utility equipment and laboratory analytical equipment. Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to maintain adequate inventory levels for equipment/systems as needed. Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files, and work order documentation is completed and documented real-time. All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, GMPs, SOPs, and JLL policies. Complete all related training by the required due date. Participate in continuous improvement projects. Maintain an on-going two-way performance dialogue with area supervisor. Notify supervisor of any training needs and advise them of any factors impacting your ability to perform required tasks. Assist with troubleshooting efforts. Perform tasks in accordance with planning and scheduling.
