What this job involves: The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Control Room Operator position is primarily responsible to monitor various computerized building automation systems to ensure that the systems are automatically operating within specified parameters (temperature, humidity, static pressure, schedules, amps, etc.).
What your day-to-day will look like:
The operator monitors the alarm screen of various BAS systems and performs virtual tours looking for equipment running out of the design parameters or running outside of the schedule.
Works alongside the site mechanics and site BAS Engineers on troubleshooting equipment issues and turning equipment on and off for maintenance.
Monitors and dispatches alarms on various BAS systems.
Performs Virtual Energy Tours using the sites Bas systems.
Documents any and all changes to the BAS via an Electronic Document system.
Notifies Researchers on the off hours regarding scientific equipment in alarm.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
A general understanding of building automation systems with an emphasis on: (Siemens (Desigo/Insight, Honeywell EBI, Web CTRL Autologic, etc.
Knowledge of Pharmaceutical HVAC equipment and how it is controlled and alarmed in an industrial/commercial environment.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of various BAS Systems such as Siemens Desigo/Insight, Honeywell EBI, Web CTRL Autologic, etc.
Previous experience working in life sciences GxP environment.
Trade School with an emphasis on HVAC.
NJ High-Pressure Black Seal.
Work Schedule
The preferred candidate needs to be able to work up to 12 hours per shift (Pittman Schedule) either day or night shift.
An essential employee is required to work during holidays and site closures with occasional mandatory overtime when required.
Required to work shift work including nights and weekends.
The position is considered Essential Personnel which requires the position to work overtime, on holidays, and during states of emergency due to weather events or other natural or man-caused disasters.
Salary/Comp: $30.00 an hour

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Create and track work orders through Corrigo system while coordinating with security, EHS, and facility operations teams

• Serve as liaison between JLL personnel and external emergency services including EMS, law enforcement, and fire departments

Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Public Safety Telecommunicator I certification and Emergency Medical Dispatch certification (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and mandatory overtime

- Track and manage version control for all bid documents
**Client and Stakeholder Engagement**

- Support or lead responses to client clarifications and follow up questions related to bids
