The UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging user experiences across our digital platforms, including web, mobile, and email. This role focuses on user research, wireframing, prototyping, and designing interfaces that meet user needs and business goals.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
· Analyze existing digital experiences for usability and accessibility issues; provide actionable recommendations.
· Conduct user research and translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and design solutions.
· Design aesthetically pleasing mockups and high-fidelity layouts for web and mobile interfaces.
· Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.
· Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
· Stay current with UX trends, tools, and best practices; introduce innovative ideas when appropriate.
· Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and usability principles.
· Participate in iterative design cycles within an Agile environment.
Essential Skills/Qualifications
· 5+ years of professional UX design experience.
· Strong ability to analyze requirements and conceptualize user flows and interfaces.
· Expertise in UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
· Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma (primary), and familiarity with Photoshop or Illustrator.
· Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and responsive designs for B2C retail ecommerce business.
· Knowledge of usability testing methods and tools; experience interpreting analytics and user feedback.
· Understanding of Web Standards and Accessibility Best Practices (WCAG).
· Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) for collaboration purposes (not coding).
· Bachelor's degree in UX, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or equivalent experience.
· Must provide a design portfolio to be considered.

Responsibilities:
Day to Day Tasks and Routines
Create layout designs in AutoCAD for tool installation projects
Work directly with client to ensure machine layouts follow code, building standards and client standards.
Field verify layouts to ensure accuracy of designs
Measure and record factory areas for as-building purposes
Present designs during review meetings and explain decisions made during design process.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) or related field
2-5 years of professional experience in industrial drafting and design
Basic experience or familiarity with preparing design drawings across all project phases, from schematic design through construction documentation, including associated project deliverables.
Experience with semiconductor tool installation
Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills for client meetings and team collaboration
Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
Ideally, you'll also have
Bachelor's degree in CADD or related field
Revit experience
Experience with innovative or complex design projects

Perform parts equivalency when changing the components (due to EOL/obsolescence)
Perform board bringup /bench testing / integration testing / characterization testing and ensure prototype design is meeting the requirements
Work with PLM tool (Agile) for Chage order creation for components / deign package / special drawing/specifications, to release in the system
Create design documentation and test report

About the Role
Responsible for providing pre-sales drawings to sales and technical staff for design/build drawing packages.
