Scott joined Astadia in 2016, bringing three decades of experience and noteworthy success as a leader in the technology space. Most recently, Scott was President and CEO of SeeWhy, a Massachusetts-based leader in real-time marketing and business intelligence solutions company acquired by SAP in 2015. Previously, Scott was President and CEO of Action Engine Corp. where he established the company’s mobile application platform as a leader in the market and led the company’s eventual sale to Mobui Corp. Before that, he was General Manager at ePresence and helped establish the company as a leader in the Identity Management segment, increased shareholder value by more than 100 percent, and was instrumental in the sale of the company’s security and identity management services to Unisys Corp. Among other roles, Scott also served as President of North American Operations and Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Gentia Software, Inc. where he helped double the company’s North American software revenues to $20 million. Scott received a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from The Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and his MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.

With more than 20 years of technology, sales channel management and IT market experience, Jason Magee has spent his career immersed in the world of MSPs and VARs. He joined ConnectWise in 2011 and was named CEO in February 2019, succeeding co-founder Arnie Bellini. Prior to becoming CEO, Jason served as President and Chief Operating Officer of ConnectWise, overseeing corporate strategy, operations, and procurement, as well as the product, customer success and IT Nation teams. Jason’s track record at ConnectWise includes launching its international expansion into the UK and Australia and its highly successful EcoSystems business. Jason oversaw several key acquisitions, including ScreenConnect -- now known as ConnectWise Control™ -- and HTG Peer Groups, now known as IT Nation Evolve, as well as HashInclude, Sienna Group and an investment in Perch Security. Before joining ConnectWise, Jason held director-level positions at CA Technologies, managing teams, channel partners, strategic alliances and marketing budgets. There he built and launched industry-leading programs, partner incentives, and vendor initiatives. Earlier on, Jason spent 5 years gaining industry and channel experience at reseller companies Interactive Futures and Global Computers, where he held sales, marketing, and product management positions. Jason is serving his second consecutive year on CompTIAs board of directors, after joining in February 2018. He grew up in New York and has an MBA from Clarkson University.

Laura K. Ipsen is president and chief executive officer of Ellucian. Laura has more than 25 years of experience as a technology executive, working to drive transformation in the public and private sectors and spur adoption of comprehensive solutions in high-growth industries. Laura joined Ellucian from Oracle Corporation, where she most recently served as general manager and senior vice president for Oracle Marketing Cloud-leading all customer-facing aspects of the business, including sales, account management, marketing, and customer services. Previously, she served as corporate vice president of Microsoft’s worldwide public sector organization, where she led a team of more than 2,000 sales and marketing professionals serving government, education, and non-privatized healthcare customers in more than 100 countries. Laura’s experience also includes more than a decade at Cisco Systems, where she led an effort to transform how the world manages energy supplies and build smart-grid solutions for utilities around the world. Prior to that, she established and managed Cisco’s global policy and government affairs division, where she led the company’s public policy agenda as it related to the Internet and global adoption of broadband access. Laura has also held leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Acer America, and Hitachi Data Systems. Laura previously served as a member of the board of directors of Monsanto from 2010 until 2018 when it was acquired by Bayer and is a former chair of the board of the Washington, D.C.-based Information Technology Industry Council. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Woodrow Wilson School of Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia and studied Arabic at Yarmouk University in Jordan. She is also a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum, Silicon Valley Chapter.

Dan arrived at Publishing Business Systems via FirstLogic, a data-quality software company later acquired by Business Objects and SAP. During his eight years at FirstLogic, he served in variety of management roles, the last being vice president of Software Business Development. Dan is a native of Wisconsin who earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
