She is recognized by practitioners on both sides of the aisle as an expert in all facets of class action administration, from notice through distribution. Jennifer has testified on settlement matters in many courts nationally and before the Senate Committee for Indian Affairs.

With more than 20 years of legal experience, Jennifer has directly worked on hundreds of high-profile and complex administration engagements, including such landmark matters as the $20 billion Gulf Coast Claims Facility, $10 billion BP Deepwater Horizon Settlement, $3.4 billion Cobell Indian Trust Settlement (the largest U.S. government class action settlement ever), $3.05 billion VisaCheck/MasterMoney Antitrust Settlement, $1 billion Stryker Modular Hip Settlement, $600 million Engle Smokers Trust Fund, $215 million USC Woman’s Health Center Settlement, the Equifax Data Breach Settlement, valued at $1.3 billion, and countless others.

Jennifer formed JND with her partners in 2016. A few months later she was appointed by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California as the Independent Claims Administrator (“ICA”) in a complex BP Solar Panel Settlement. Jennifer oversaw the notice and administration, including the inspection, remediation and replacement of solar panels on homes and businesses throughout the United States. Soon after, Jennifer was also chosen to oversee the Loblaw restitution program in Canada in which every adult in the country was eligible to participate. Since then, she has continued to be appointed notice expert in a number of high-profile matters.

Prior to forming JND, Jennifer was COO and executive vice president for one of the then largest legal administration firms in the country. Previously, she worked as a class action business analyst at Perkins Coie, responsible for managing complex class action settlements and remediation programs, including the selection, retention and supervision of legal administration firms.

In 2017, Jennifer was named a female entrepreneur of the year finalist in the 14th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. In 2015 and 2017, she was recognized as a “Woman Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal. In 2013, she was featured in a CNN article, “What Changes with Women in the Boardroom.” Jennifer is frequently invited to speak on class action issues and has written numerous articles in her areas of expertise. Jennifer earned her B.A., M.S.F. with honors and J.D. from Seattle University.

As Chief Information Officer, Darryl is responsible for providing the vision and leadership for developing and implementing Information Technology initiatives at JND. Darryl oversees all IT staff and vendors and also initiates the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in order to most effectively enable all of JND’s divisions to be successful.

Reporting directly to, and working in unison with, the CEO, Darryl ensures the IT organization is prioritizing initiatives and delivering secure, high value systems, infrastructure and technical support. He is also responsible for defining, documenting and delivering policies, procedures and infrastructure to pass certifications and audits.

Darryl has been in the Legal Administration field since 2011 and prior to joining the JND team, served as Senior Vice President of Systems and Technology for another large legal administration firm. Darryl has overseen the delivery of solutions for some of the largest projects in the Legal Administration industry, always with a focus on driving operational success.

Prior to entering the Legal Administration realm, Darryl spent 12 years in Health Care IT, where he was the Managing Director of IT for Adaptis, a Health Care BPO that provided Systems, claims processing and administration services to insurance companies.

Darryl earned his B.A. in Management Information Systems from Washington State University.

As the Chief Financial Officer of JND Legal Administration, Flora is responsible for the overall financial health of the company. Flora has extensive experience with post acquisition integration of financial, operational processes and reporting to meet public company standards. In addition, Flora has designed and implemented internal controls and is experienced with Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) compliance. With 15 years of experience, Flora brings diversified industry experience which ranges from advertising and media, brand consulting, financial services and telecommunication.

Prior to joining JND, Flora has held various CFO and financial leadership positions within global brand consulting and marketing agencies. She has overseen the financial performance of multiple US subsidiaries as well as international offices. Through the course of her financial leadership roles, Flora has partnered with CEOs and senior leadership teams to revamp business models and improve financial results.

Flora is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign. Flora received her B.A. in Economics from East China Normal University (based in Shanghai). Flora is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

As Chief of Staff at JND Legal Administration, Mellissa assists the CEO and is intricately involved in the day-to-day operations of the company’s Class Action division, ensuring the workflow is managed, deliverables are met, and resources are looped and allocated as necessary. Mellissa has worked in the settlement administration business for seven years. Prior to joining JND, she provided executive-level administrative support in the financial sector as Executive Assistant at two global financial institutions, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America, as well as at a single-family, privately-owned financial services office in Seattle.

Mellissa holds both bachelor’s and master's degrees from the University of Washington.
