Responsibilities include:
+ Responsible for supervising hourly skilled trades in the areas of machining.

We're seeking an experienced CNC Setup Lead to support day-to-day machining operations in a busy, precision-focused environment. This role involves setting up and optimizing production runs on both CNC mills and lathes, ensuring equipment is properly prepared for operators, and maintaining consistent quality across medium- to high-volume jobs.
1st shift
7am-3pm Monday-Friday, OT as required
What You'll Do
Set up and prove out 4-axis CNC mills and 2-axis lathes equipped with Fanuc, Brother, and Haas controls
Prepare all setups from start to first article approval, ensuring machines, tools, and programs are production-ready
Perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and light program edits as needed during production
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, including GD&T
Hold tolerances to ±.0005 on precision machined components
Work with Doosan, Brother, Robo-Drill, and Haas machines
Support process optimization through continuous improvement and preventive maintenance
Coordinate closely with operators, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency
Document setups and communicate across shifts to ensure consistency and smooth transitions
Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
At least 2 years of CNC setup experience on mills or lathes
Strong knowledge of tooling, offsets, and multi-axis setup procedures
Ability to interpret prints and verify tight-tolerance features
Reliable attendance and a commitment to maintaining quality and productivity standards
Adaptability to a fast-moving production environment
Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours when needed
Clear communication and a team-oriented approach
This is a direct hire position on first shift.

Key Responsibilities:
Load materials into machine and perform operation cycle

Isolate non-conforming parts and materials
Requirements:
12+ months of CNC Operation, including basic setups/tool changes
