JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Assistant Manager assists the Warehouse Manager in providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve as the designated crisis responder for LAN regions including Kankakee, Vermillion, Will/Grundy, Kane/Kendall, and South & West Cook .
Complete the Crisis Intervention Intake Packet during each crisis encounter.
Document all crisis activity in CareLogic within two hours of response.
Facilitate family reunification, family-generated placement, or short-term agency placement as appropriate.
Obtain approval from the After-Hours Crisis Supervisor before any placement occurs.
Provide linkages, referrals, and resource coordination based on youth and family needs.
Remain accessible by cell phone throughout scheduled shifts.

A Day in the Life of a Youth Care Worker
As a Youth Care Worker, you provide direct therapeutic support to our program's youth, following detailed wellness plans. Your kindness and understanding encourage open communication, and your patience ensures youre always ready to listen. Despite the physical and mental demands, the Bilingual Youth Care Worker finds satisfaction in helping those in need and positively impacting their lives.
Qualifications for a Youth Care Worker
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 21 years of age
Valid Illinois driver's license
Bilingual preferred
At least 1 year working with youth in a therapeutic setting
Work Schedule
We have a 24/7 program, and 4 shift options available:
Evening Youth Counselor - 1 pm to 11 pm / 2 pm to 11 pm / 10 am to 10 pm (Full Time)
Night Youth Counselor - 11 pm to 9 am / 10 pm to 10 am (Full Time)
Substitute Youth Counselor - 60 hours per month (Part Time)
Morning Youth Counselor - 7 am to 9 am (Part Time)

Worked with onsite/offshore model.
