Utilizes outcome measures and other reports (when applicable) in each clients treatment by reviewing initial and quarterly measures and reports and bases treatment plans and interventions on issues identified through continual assessment.
Maintains electronic and paper clinical files according to company policy and applicable regulations.
Completes clinical documentation within established time frames.
Attends and actively participates in weekly supervision including follow-up with supervision recommendations.
Works with team to create and update all client and family centered Treatment Plans, assuring that all plans meet Camelot policies, state and federal law/rules, funding requirements and COA standards in a timely manner.
Provides individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions as outlined in the Treatment Plan.
Participates in permanency planning activities, including discharge planning as assigned by the treatment team within established time frame.
Participates in staffings for children assigned on case load.
Participates in court-related issues for the case load in coordination with their supervisor.
Links the child and family with specific services and resources as identified in the service/treatment plan.
Serves as liaison with other professionals and agencies.
On-call as directed by Clinical Director and program requirements.
Discusses with supervisor any over or under utilization of services in regards to outcome monitoring.

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree preferred in a Human Service discipline from four-year accredited college or university and experience working with children/adolescents in a therapeutic treatment environment and in compliance with State or contractual requirements.

Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Counselor for the Upward Bound program. The Counselor for the Upward Bound program will assist the Upward Bound director in the development and implementation of the Upward Bound program. Duties will include coordinating program services, assisting in serving as liaison with high schools, building positive working relationships with community partners, assessing student needs, advising and tutoring, tracking student contacts and entering data, and conducting workshops for students and parents.

Direct services are provided at JHS four (4) days per week. During the summer component, the UB counselor will live in residence on UNG Dahlonega's campus for 3-4 week, Sunday - Friday.

* Recruit Upward Bound participants to provide a rich program for student high school success as preparation for later enrollment in postsecondary education.

This direct care position supervises a group of 7-10 youth through activities during waking and non-waking hours. While unobtrusively providing external controls necessary to ensure safety and security, Youth Care Specialists guide and teach youth the internal controls needed to live responsibly when and where external controls are relaxed.

The Counseling Center at Santa Fe College offers short-term, targeted mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources. The Center also conducts workshops, training sessions, presentations, and outreach activities for both students and staff.
The Counseling Specialist Intern provides counseling to college students dealing with personal, academic, and career-related issues under the guidance of an experienced Counseling Specialist. Interns may also contribute to the Trauma Response Team and engage in consultations with faculty and staff alongside a Counseling Specialist.
Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
* Delivers face-to-face and tele-mental health counseling to students dealing with personal, career, and academic concerns.
* Provides crisis intervention services as they arise during the workday.
* Facilitates psycho-educational training for students, faculty, and staff.
* Engages in outreach activities across the College community.
* May serve as a consultant to college faculty, staff, and students alongside a Counseling Specialist.
* May collaborate with Student Affairs and Academic Affairs alongside a Counseling Specialist.
* Maintains timely and professional written communication in record keeping, emails, and reports.
* Provides referrals to appropriate campus and community resources for students in need.
* Complies with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees, including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
* Strictly honors the privacy, security, and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to appropriate state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Provides service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: A Master's degree in Counseling or a relevant field with an active State of Florida license as a Registered Intern.
