Key Responsibilities:

Prepare regular updates and risk assessments for internal stakeholders, including the Head of Legal, U.S., and business unit leaders.

Trade Compliance and Tariff Management
Advise on U.S. import/export laws and regulations, including compliance with:

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Customs regulations administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
Tariff classification and country-of-origin rules
Monitor and interpret trade remedies and actions such as Section 301 tariffs, AD/CVD duties, and Section 232 measures.
Provide legal support for the preparation and maintenance of product classifications, license applications, voluntary disclosures, and corrective actions as needed.
Support the company's participation in the U.S. regulatory processes related to tariffs, including exclusion requests and enforcement proceedings.
Compliance Program Development
Assist in developing, implementing, and refining the company's U.S. compliance policies and procedures in alignment with global compliance standards and U.S. legal requirements.
Conduct internal training and awareness programs on relevant compliance topics, such as anti-corruption, sanctions, supply chain transparency, and trade compliance.

Cross-Functional Legal Support

Collaborate with external legal counsel and advisors on complex trade or regulatory matters.
Work with global colleagues to harmonize compliance practices and ensure consistent interpretation of global regulatory obligations.
Qualifications:
Education and Licensure
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar (with ability to qualify under Michigan in-house counsel rules).
Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience practicing law, including at least 3 years of in-house or law firm experience with a focus on compliance, trade law, or regulatory law.
Prior experience advising manufacturing clients or clients in the energy or automotive sectors is strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. trade laws, customs procedures, and industrial policy instruments (e.g., Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS Act, Buy American Act).
Experience advising clients on compliance with export control regulations and sanctions laws.

Position Description:
You will help with the advancement of the following: Lead the initiative to migrate current on-prem AEM platform to AEM Cloud platform
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other product teams to standardize AEM implementation strategy Define and develop solutions based on sound application architecture
Work with Platform Engineering team to automate testing, security compliance, CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring, support infrastructure upgrade, and support development metrics
Provide 2nd-tier support for production issues
Collaborate with various enterprise groups to ensure the security and legal compliance of the products
Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and mentor junior software engineers to help develop technical talents
Skills Required:
AEM Cloud 5+ years experience
5+ years of experience in Maven, Java, Jenkins, GitHub, AEM frameworks (OSGI, Sling, JCR, Felix, HTL) Groovy, Adobe I/O, Apache Webserver, REST-Based web services, Headless Architecture, Custom components implementation, integration with third-party systems o Next.js or React
Experience in AEM Cloud development and Cloud Service operations, AEM Cloud Manager, AEM Cloud security model and integration, AEM integration with 3rd party tools such as MS Teams, Slack.
AEM Best Practice Analyzer, CDNs such as Akamai/Fastly, FOSSA, SonarQube, Checkmarks

Automate performance monitoring and notification in the event of failures using best practices and tools.
Champion an Agile mindset and Software Craftsmanship practices, contributing to and leading the agile team for quality deliverables.
Research new technologies, influence enterprise technology shifts, and implement new trends impacting Ford application delivery.
Participate in and champion highly collaborative practices, including Pair Programming, DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Security practices (SAST/DAST)
Use of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (Dynatrace, etc.)
Engage in Agile practices including, but not limited to, Stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and journey mapping.
